Warren and Jason tackle the question of what a person "should" (or shouldn't) be doing with his or her time in the midst of this unprecedented season of challenge and disruption to our lives. Also, some solid theological talk about God's providence and a wee bit of reflection on sports that aren't/didn't/won't be happening anytime soon. We are still in the "I Am" series, where Jesus tells us exactly who he is and what that means. And it means a lot for us in these challenging days! Our "What's Love Got to Do With It" sermon series is wrapping up soon, and Warren and Jason talk about this past Sunday's sermon in Ephesian 4:1-3 and the gracious, rescuing role of correction in the Christian life. The guys also go "viral," as in reflecting how believers can marshal a sound, Christian response to the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak and its impacts near and far. 

We don't mean that we should "love less," but what do we do when we find ourselves tending to be more "loveless"--lacking in forgiving, forbearing love for one another? Warren and Jason interact with this and other ideas related to Andrew Kalvelage's excellent sermon this past Sunday. 

Sunday's sermon by Jason Reyes focused on the idea of "Building Love" from Ephesians 4:29, so the guys discuss the amazing impact--both constructive and destructive--of our words. Warren "The Chair Guy" Boettcher also recalls his glory days as a member of the church's setup ministry and the joys of service in the church, then the exciting news about our friend Tim Shorey's new book release, Respect the Image (P&R Publishing). We don't say it often, but we will today: you don't want to miss this episode!   

It's not even March Madness yet, but Jason and Warren are discussing issues in Major League baseball? Go figure. However, some great reflection on this past Sunday's sermon on Serving Love and what it means when we really see and respond with compassion to those in need. Enjoy!
