Most of us are used to finding out the weather from either our phones or the local non-gender-specific "weatherperson" on TV or radio. Bet you didn't know, however, that one of the major efforts going on at the Vatican these days under the Pope Francis pontificate is meteorology. Yup. Meteorology.

Is Pope Francis the global worldwide weatherman? That's what it boils down to in his latest offering, a pronouncement essentially that the world is about to end due to not just the environment but man's destruction of it. And, of course, by "man," he seems to be thinking of Americans, with no mention of the Chinese — the biggest polluters in world history! 

It feels like Pope Francis has a bone to pick with America in general, specifically with political conservatives and orthodox Catholics (of which there is a somewhat sizable overlap). From the outside looking in, an orthodox Catholic who is also an America First patriot is treated like a problem.

Of course, all this environmental alarmism is yet another Marxist strategy to empower the government and destroy the little guy by undermining the economy by obliterating energy independence.

Remember two-buck gas? It wasn't that long ago. Owing to Marxists, meaning Democratic control in D.C., the "little guy" is now paying almost a hundred dollars more per month in after-tax income for the exact same amount of gas. Likewise, across the entire economy, airlines, buses, trucking — everything that touches gas — prices have exploded and pretty much stayed there. It's the new Biden "normal."

Airlines fly fewer planes, resulting in fewer overall seats, jam-packed flights, a ridiculously impossible turnaround schedule for crews. And even then, the cost per ticket has increased. Prices at grocery stores have jumped because of the fuel cost for trucks getting food from farm to store shelves. And on and on.

Things cost less when the commies didn't have power because, well, bottom line, they didn't have power.

And yet, they are relentless in shoving their policy of decreasing our energy independence, environmental alarmism, Green New Deal, "save the earth" crap down our throats like it's the truth. And over there on the sidelines are perhaps their biggest cheerleaders — the U.S. bishops' conference. 

Francis even called the U.S. bishops out directly in his latest publication, praising them for their leadership in this area. The bishops as well as Pope Francis don't know the first thing about environmental science. They are supposed to be teaching the faith, not offering unscientific opinions about the weather — opinions that just happen, by the way, to dovetail nicely into the communist global-control agenda.

Once again, the U.S. bishops add to their treasure chest by collecting taxpayer funds for pushing not only the lies about immigration, but also climate alarmism. They endorse multiple groups on federal, state and local levels lying about the changes in weather being attributable to man.

As Church Militant continues hammering on the U.S. bishops' full-throated support for policies that undermine both the republic and the Church, word is really starting to get out. Last week in D.C., we had private discussions with various people on Capitol Hill about not just the illegal immigration issue the bishops are completely down with, but also their support for the economically unsound agenda of rabid environmentalism which is chock-full of phony science and economic destruction for the nation.

The claim that man changes the weather is totally unfounded scientifically, but with the Marxist control of every major institution, it is virtually accepted as scientific fact. It is not. On Tuesday, Nov. 14, in Baltimore, Church Militant, along with our other partners in the Deposit of Faith Coalition, will be holding another press conference like we did in D.C. in July. This time, the topic is on challenging the phony claims about the environment.

Our last press event on illegal immigration garnered more than 25 million impressions from politically conservative media outlets who attended and reported the story, and then others who later picked up the story (including The Epoch Times, Media Research Center and PJ Media). Steve Bannon as well as Info Wars were also happy to talk about the effort of the coalition in advance.

I'm Michael Voris coming to you from Washington, D.C., where the U.S. bishops will very likely soon be experiencing a type of demand for accountability normally reserved to the Holy See.

The issue is the bishops' communist-minded social justice agency, Catholic Charities, and its drawing down of billions in U.S. tax dollars to help undermine southern-border security and, of course, by extension, the entire republic. 

During Biden's nearly three years in the White House, somewhere between 5 to 7 million — 5 to 7 million — illegal immigrants have swarmed across the border, and they've been assisted every step of the way by Catholic Charities.

What you're seeing is exclusive Church Militant video of that very thing, with Catholic Charities organizing all of it. The U .S. bishops' agency pretends their work is somehow about Church teaching and following the gospel mandate, but that's just not true. It's merely the cover story for refilling their coffers with billions in taxpayer money they lost in child sex abuse payouts. 

Add to that how Catholic Charities has been and continues to be led by extremely liberal so-called Catholics who have no love for the republic or the Church and you have a perfect storm. But now various members of Congress want Catholic Charities and other operations to get up here on Capitol Hill, under oath, and answer some very pointed questions.

So Church Militant has come here to D.C. to interview some of the leading members pushing for this accountability.

I'm Michael Voris coming to you from the nation's Capitol, where the Catholic bishops' social justice arm — Catholic Charities — is about to come under intense congressional scrutiny.

For a number of years now, as longtime followers will attest to, Church Militant has been chasing down the story of the U.S. bishops' Catholic Charities' undermining of national security by its role in the illegal immigration crisis — up to and including child sex trafficking.

Two years ago, Church Militant went to the Texas–Mexico border and spoke directly with U.S. patriots who pointed the finger squarely at the U.S. bishops as one of the largest provocateurs in this fiasco — owing to the billions the bishops get from D.C. to supposedly help with humanitarian relief.

Well, that information has finally reached the halls of Congress where quite a few members are now demanding answers and an accounting from Catholic Charities on what exactly is going on with the billions they get in taxpayer dollars.

So Church Militant has come directly to D.C. to sit down with various members and see what their inquiry is all about and what questions they want answered by the bishops and their appointees.

One of the sharpest critics of all this is Texas congressman Lance Gooden, who is fed up with the open-borders policy of the Biden administration, the Democrats and their allies on the religious left — most especially Catholic Charities.

Now, as we've covered repeatedly in multiple Vortex episodes, the communist path to power in Western democracies has been and is being accomplished through elections, which does contain within itself its own irony, since the goal of communism ultimately is to seize complete and total power and destroy fair elections in the process. But there is a backstage game going on, a clever disguise whereby first institutions were overrun, so minds could be controlled through propaganda, so they would vote for policies which made sense to the brainwashed.

Once a sufficient number of voters are compiled over a few decades — again, convinced by the propaganda that the Left loves and cares for them — the scales would tip, the Left would win majorities and then nothing would be left to stand in their way. That's happening right now, as we sit here.

The propaganda machine, in high gear on college campuses and mainstream media networks throughout the nation for decades, has been inculcating in people's minds a slew of false flags so they can create a narrative that death and destruction will shortly follow if their agenda is not implemented immediately.

Of course, the not-so-underlying theme is they must be elected to save the immigrant, save the poor, save the earth, and a host of others causes in which they cast themselves as noble "savior." When it comes to saving the immigrant in particular, things are beginning to reveal themselves which upend their narrative about the southern border. And the challenge to their propaganda is not coming from the Republican establishment but from what you could style "new breed" Republicans, beholden much more to principles than party it seems.

Yes, they will work within the party system but challenge the status quo of not really protecting citizens and the republic. Among the causes they have taken up is derailing the narrative of climate change being caused by man and, of course, protecting the borders. And on that score, a broadside offensive has begun over the topic of child sex trafficking and the complicity in it of the U.S. bishops' anti-American policy of allowing millions of illegals unfettered entry.

The bishops have pulled down billions in taxpayer dollars specifically through their agency Catholic Charities. But now, the tie-in between the bishops' agency and child sex-trafficking is being exposed. At the recent annual gathering of the state Republican Party on Michigan's Mackinac Island, Kristina Karamo, chair of the party, laid it on the line about Catholic Charities.

Catholic Charities and, by extension, the U.S. bishops, is coming under increasing scrutiny over this question of their collecting billions in tax dollars, supporting policies that undermine the same nation they are getting the tax dollars from.

And it's not just in Michigan by new breed Republicans but on Capitol Hill as well, where a growing number of U.S. congressmen are demanding answers. With the U.S. House still in the throes of the debate and vote on the speakership position, this, along with all business, has been momentarily forestalled, but it won't stay that way for long.

One of the first things on the agenda for multiple members of Congress once business resumes is grilling Catholic Charities and the bishops over this whole illegal immigration industry they have going on. And with the wild success of the box office blockbuster Sound of Freedom, you can bet that child sex-trafficking will also be on the docket. And as we all know, when it comes to child sex abuse, that is a topic the bishops do not want to have come up again.

The whole "save the immigrants" narrative of the Democrats is beginning to unravel, and when it does, the bishops are going to once again be found to be de facto on the side of the Left, undermining the republic, not to mention cashing in on the backs of children.

Now, little by little and, occasionally, like November three years ago, big by big, the Left advances relentlessly. And by "the Left," we mean specifically communism. It goes by those multiple names of "globalism," "socialism," "Marxism" — call it whatever you want, but, in the end, it's communism.

And the latest showpiece for them? Poland. Yep, Catholic Poland, quickly on its way to becoming formerly Catholic Poland.

When John Paul was elected in 1978, almost the entire nation identified as Catholic, over 95%. But that was then, almost half a century ago, while the nation was subjected to forced communism by the Kremlin and its puppet regime in Warsaw. Today, that number has dipped significantly, to just 70%. 

And while that's obviously a majority, you've got to wonder, based on this past Sunday's election results for the Polish Parliament, if there's a case of nominal Catholicism there, like all other formerly Catholic populations in multiple countries.

The election results, which are still rolling in, indicate a measurable move away from conservative politics — a definitive shifting to the left. Remember, unlike here in the United States, the parliamentary system largely relies on more than just two parties forming coalitions to seize a majority-type control. So while one party, in this case the Conservative Law and Justice Party, did get a plurality of votes, the most cast for any single party, it did not get the majority.

When you add together all the nonconservative, meaning left-leaning, meaning pro-socialist, that coalition won the majority of seats. And that is a political earthquake in Poland. Yes, they will have policy differences among themselves, just like the Democrats here in the United States do, but make no mistake, they are in lockstep when in comes to their worldviews. What divides them is tactics, not ideology.

And once all the dust has settled in Poland, as the parties jockey for power, what will emerge is a ruling coalition of the Left? It may not be a giant ruling power — yet. But it's heading that way. In fact, it was best summed up over the weekend by the leaders of the New Left, who said, "There can be no government without the left wing. ... A political party exists in order to win power and, by exercising power, to turn its dreams into reality."

Are you listening, my fellow Americans? Even in Poland, what may now need to be considered formerly Catholic Poland, the commies are on the march. Talk about not learning from history. One of Warsaw's mottos under communist occupation was "In the name of God, for our freedom and yours." What is it now, "For the commie globalists and their godless world domination"?

When Joseph Stalin took control of Poland after World War II, it was through brutality and international political cooperation. After the collapse of the Soviet Union, Poland went through a post-communist period, but, true to form, they've come back. None of the previous Marxist overlords were put on public trial and executed for their crimes of subjugation of a people, even if it was their own people. See — the communists never actually went away. It was the Soviet Union that collapsed, not worldwide communism.

That merely morphed and injected itself into the political fray, running as such things as so-called Green Parties in various countries in Europe. Here in the United States, they invaded the Democratic Party and used our system to seize control, just as they are doing now in Poland.

Of course, what Catholics should be primarily concerned about is the soon-to-be threat to the faithful. We shouldn't fall into the trap of thinking that it will be some splendid romantic period of great numbers of martyrs, at least not proportionately.

The martyrs of the Roman persecutions were the exception, not the rule. In fact, whenever the people are faced with a choice, they almost always vote to save their own butts first, so they go along. Just look at Reformation England if you need a case example. Not only did the people fold under the persecution of Henry and, eventually, Elizabeth, his daughter; the entire exodus of apostasy was led by the bishops.

Sound familiar?

The communist movement has made itself as clear as any force in history that its goal is world domination through democratically elected governments' political processes. Once you vote them in, as the saying goes, the only way out is to shoot your way out.

It's as clear as crystal that the world is careening toward something huge, colossal. There are simply too many forces all converging for something foundation-altering not to happen. You can feel it in your bones.

Unfortunately, just as with the English Reformation, too many Catholic clergy have been a part of this forming hurricane, leading countless laity with them. In many countries, in fact, including America and Poland, the Church has been the primary target of the commies, first corrupting the moral life of Catholics and now their sense of social justice. Exit polls from Poland reveal that huge numbers voted for the Left because they promised "economic justice" for the elderly and so forth.

It's the same playbook in country after country with these commies — free everything to get power, then let the killings begin.

America, of course, has an election in slightly more than a year. It's time for us to all hold our collective breath and really start praying, because if this one is lost, it's game over.

Now, as of this recording on Friday afternoon, there are knife attacks in China and France, hundreds marching on the Israeli border in Jordan and Americans fearful of sending their kids to school, all due to Muslim terror group Hamas' promised "day of rage."

A point to note: It is in America's large exclusively-Democrat-run cities where fears have run most high and police departments are on extra high alert — New York, for example. Now why would that be? The Democrats have styled themselves as the open-borders party, because they are.

Since Biden took office, an estimated (because no one really knows, which is scary all by itself) 5–7 million illegals have crossed over. And no one really knows where or who they are. There are simply no controls in place, and what few there are, are routinely ignored.

As the war in Gaza kicks into high gear, captured documents by Israeli soldiers reveal a massively coordinated and well-planned attack by Hamas — and get this, two years in the planning, coinciding with Biden's becoming president.

It would be politically nuts to think that among those millions, there are not a few thousand (at the minimum) that are Muslim terrorists. Heck, isn't that the entire reason a nation has borders to begin with, to keep out those it does not want in?

But the Democrats have thrown the doors wide open, and anything that happens as a result is on them. It's true the GOP has been lackluster, despite all the bluster about the borders, in closing them down.

Remember all the opposition to Trump's wall from within the party: "We cant afford it"; "it's too much money." Then most of them turned around and shoveled hundreds and hundreds of billions off to Zelensky right along with the Democrats.

But that said, it has been the Democrats who own this insanity, the party that wants to undermine the republic, best represented by their messiah, Obama, who worked tirelessly for eight years to populate every nook and cranny of Washington with America-hating leaders. But none of these policies could have become effective if not for the role of the bishops and their phony reading and preaching of Church teaching, which explicitly says nations have a right to secure their borders.

As Church Militant has excruciatingly detailed, even helping organize a July press conference to help get the word out, the U.S. bishops have gotten billions and billions of dollars rolling out the red carpet for illegal immigrants, millions and millions of them.

Their dirty work has been handled largely by their socialist gang at Catholic Charities, which is beginning to take flak from members of Congress, like Rep. Lance Gooden of Texas, who's insisted on accountability for the billions shoveled directly into the organization's coffers by the federal government.

It is not anti-Catholic for members of Congress to demand an accounting of U.S. tax dollars flowing like a torrent into the treasure chest of bishops. This has nothing to do with anti-Catholicism. Heck, millions of faithful Catholics want the bishops' role in this to end immediately.

It is the bishops who have profited off the perversion of the teaching, refilling their coffers after having paid out billions for child sex abuse cases, another thing they have managed to avoid necessary scrutiny about. That's another story. But now, as the enormity of the picture increases, Democrat cities across America are holding their collective breath that nothing truly horrible happens to citizens as the "day of rage" dawns.

If some killing and violence happens, the Democrats and their bishop allies will have only themselves to blame.
