Church Militant The Vortex Feed episodes

  • Welcome, Mother

    TRANSCRIPT

If you even remotely follow Church Militant, you are aware of our devotion to Our Blessed Mother. While the name of the apostolate is St. Michael's Media, we have also consecrated ourselves and our work here to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We make that consecration every day in our chapel, during morning prayer. And just so you know, the prayer book we have published is available for sale, if you would like. Just go onto the site, and click on the store. We recently updated it.

Now, as you know, our main stage here in the studio is dominated by an awesome statue of St. Michael, the patron of this apostolate. That statue is one of the earliest purchases we made, 16 years ago. And he sat on the stage of our original show, The One True Faith, for every taping. When we eventually moved him to his current home on this stage, we said, "We need Our Blessed Mother in the opposite corner!"

So almost nine months ago, we placed our order. A few days ago, she arrived. We unveiled her on Church Militant Evening News a couple of nights ago. And in case you missed that broadcast, we'd like to show you us, unveiling Mommy.

  • Radicalizing the Rosary

    TRANSCRIPT

No matter how hard they try, the Marxists simply cannot leave the Church alone — the Catholic Church. Speaking spiritually, it's easy to understand why. Satan runs the Marxist media with its support for all kinds of evil, propagating the horrors of the sexual revolution. And because Satan knows the Catholic Church is the only legitimate religion on the earth — in human history, in fact — he aims all his firepower at Christ's mystical body. It is not very hard to do the math there.

But what is curious is the question of his children here on earth. There is something in their psychology that draws them to the Church. They're practically obsessed with it. Check that. They are obsessed with it. It's almost always Catholic churches, Catholic families and so forth, in TV shows, movies, novels, you name it. There is something about the Church — magnetic, psychologically magnetic — where they simply cannot ignore it. So no one can be surprised when these periodic eruptions occur in the secular media, and it seems to be the case that these eruptions are becoming more frequent.

For example, within a 72-hour period, the Church was once again the subject of nonstop editorializing at major outlets. A few days back, The New York Times published a guest essay by Julia Yost from First Things entitled "New York's Hottest Club is the Catholic Church." It was a quaint piece on the increasing acceptance of Catholicism among the younger generations, in reaction to the increasing chaos in the world. It had a tinge of nostalgia sprinkled in with a touch of admiration for the cultural trend.

The piece focuses on a neighborhood in Manhattan called "Dimes Square," which has become something of a haven for those fed up with the zeitgeist, focusing on a blend between traditional Catholicism and Trumpism — a confident yet somewhat mellow approach to fighting back and resisting. It was certainly flattering and somewhat shocking on the pages of the New York Times, no doubt. But of course, anything even remotely favorable to Catholicism immediately brings out the boobirds.

The Marxists simply cannot leave the Church alone.

In this case, it was the radical leftists at Slate who castigated the Times for publishing anything non-condemnatory of the Church. The most revealing line in the Slate piece was regarding "traditionalists," a word the author has no clue as to its meaning. She says, "many [traditionalists] are campaigning, sometimes quite vehemently, for the stripping of rights from women and queer people." And there you have it. Slate correctly intuits that any faithful Catholicism must rebel against the sexual revolution. Too bad the bishops haven't figured that out yet.

And if this wasn't enough (the Times/Slate coverage), a day or so later, yet another tête-à-tête broke out between The Atlantic and Fox News, again regarding Catholicism. This skirmish began with a heavily insulting piece written by a paid online "hate researcher" (whatever that is) who is employed by a Toronto Holocaust museum. The name of his piece — or, rather, the original title — was this: "How the Rosary Became an Extremist Symbol." Not very flattering.

The blowback was so severe that The Atlantic changed the name of the article so absurdly, that it didn't even reflect the content. It went from "How the Rosary Became an Extremist Symbol" to "How Extremist Gun Culture is trying to Co-Opt the Rosary." That is quite the difference. The young fellow who wrote it clearly has a next-to-zero understanding of Catholic theology as well as Catholic devotional and spiritual life. He conflates all kinds of things that are, in their essence, unrelated.

He doesn't know his Catholic vocabulary, doesn't know Catholic spirituality and doesn't know much about history. But hey, why would you need to know Catholic theology, devotions and spirituality to write a piece on Catholic theology, devotions and spirituality? What's important is that he is an "online hate researcher" and was casting about for something, anything, in the Catholic world to portray as "hate." Hey, Dan, you went barking up the wrong tree.

In fact, in a game of low-hanging fruit, we actually challenged the clueless kid to a debate or at least an interview. I sent him multiple tweets, a large number of which were retweeted, saying let's hash it out. In one, I pointed out to him that if he accepts, then he might want to bone up because we wrote a book, The Weapon, all about the Rosary. If you would like, it's available in our bookstore, and, on a personal note, of the four I have authored, this is hands down my favorite. Just click on the store link on the site to order a copy. Thank you in advance.

Young Dan is like so many his age, full of the narrative, with no ability to think clearly and absorb anything deeper. They set out to find some evidence of a preconceived story they are convinced is true and then just grab whatever they can and jam it into the storyline — even if it barely fits, or even doesn't fit. It's kind of like a cop being so convinced that Bob committed the crime that he just plants the evidence on him, convinced that he is justified in doing so because, you know, he's right.

Faithful Catholicism must rebel against the sexual revolution.

The mainstream media refuses to admit they have a worldview. They are certainly allowed to have a worldview, even a wrong one, but they don't get to pretend they don't and then "investigate" things and "objectively" report on their findings. They aren't "findings." They're distortions, lies, fabrications and poorly reasoned positions, all at the service of the narrative, because the narrative is all that matters — kind of like having to break a few eggs to make an omelet. Unfortunate, certainly, but necessary.

What is it about Catholicism in these types of people's minds that must be "exposed"? Those sorts of questions — deeper questions are never even pondered in the minds of media critics — like the gang on Fox's noonday show, who did an admirable job of attacking The Atlantic for religious bigotry but completely whiffed on the larger point.

As we proceed even deeper into these darker times, you can bet the mortgage that the unthinking mob sitting atop the ivory towers will continue to remain on the attack. For the sake of the innocent and persuadable, they must be resisted. And no, Dan, we don't mean stringing you up from a tree by our beads, although we can imagine that's how you would interpret it.

You'd be wrong, just as your current article shows your ignorance. At least we think it's ignorance. Feel free, Dan, to reach out. We'd love to talk. And no, we aren't being cheeky or facetious. You need some schooling, as well as the humility to understand that. But humility isn't really the currency of the Left.

  • Oh, Here We Go Again

    TRANSCRIPT

A brief personal story to kick things off, if we may.

When Church Militant was in Baltimore last November, where backroom deals between the city and the bishops forced us to have to sue — and win — simply to exercise our First Amendment rights, we had the occasion to talk with a bishop I have known personally for a number of years. I asked him point blank, "Your Excellency, straight up, what exactly is the bishops' problem with Church Militant?" He said, "Honestly? No soft-selling?" I said, "Straight up." He said, "It's because you're divisive; you create division."

Now, for the record, we hear that charge leveled against us all the time by bureaucratic bishops and their sycophants, so it's not like we were appalled. In fact, my only thought was, "Here we go again with the same old deflection." That led to us having a brief discussion on the question of being "divisive." I said, "Your Excellency, how can any of you call us divisive for simply shining a light on the division you all have created by coddling homosexuals within your own ranks, the destruction of the liturgy and so forth?" We don't create it; we just talk about it, while you guys sweep it under the rug.

He said — in a way that actually surprised me — "How do you know all the gay stuff you guys report on is true? Where's the proof?" That is actually a hysterical, uninformed question (or one meant to completely deflect from what he already knew), implying we have no idea of what we report on, don't check the facts (nor double check them) and all that kind of thing.

We don't create it; we just talk about it while you guys sweep it under the rug.

So I proposed to him that once we get back to Detroit, let me go through our archives — thousands of such stories about the sodomite culture in the clergy — and send him one. I then offered to meet with him and any other bishops at a private location without anyone else knowing, totally off the record, to have a frank discussion about all of this.

They could ask whatever they wanted, and I would be happy to answer because, frankly, we know a heck of a lot more than what we say publicly. The only reason we don't broadcast everything is that some of the info we have is so limited in regards to who actually knows it, that if we said it out loud, bishops could easily figure out the source and retaliate against them.

Strange business this is, exposing the vast corruption in the Church while having to protect good men in the Church from being exposed. I never really faced these problems in my secular news career, at least not like this. But then again, our sources were seldom from a man who was under obedience and could be completely screwed over for the rest of his natural life by a vindictive homosexual "queen" wearing a miter. So we returned to Detroit; I filled the staff in on the discussion and asked them, "Which story have we done that you would consider would give the bishop the proof he said he needed about gay clergy?"

Quick aside — I don't believe for one minute the bishops, any bishop, is unaware of this filth, but I told him I would provide it, so I did. Through a mutual acquaintance, we sent him our report on the Church's own internal investigation on the South American gay-seminarian pipeline, a story that Church Militant broke, and the entire Catholic establishment media was absolutely crickets on — not a peep.

Another quick aside — the Catholic establishment media, such as it is, is completely revolting and disgusting, and if they don’t think they will have to answer to Almighty God when they die for their complicity and cooperation in the spiritual victimization of souls they participate in by covering up for and enabling gay bishops and priests, then they have another thought coming.

So how did it all end? We sent the video file through a mutual friend, so we knew he received it. We have no idea if he actually watched it; we never heard a peep from the bishop. If we revealed who he was — recently celebrated for his "bravery" — you’d be shocked. That was back in November.

This is how this crowd operates; they are disingenuous as hell — great actors, schemers and plotters, always ready to condemn those who are on to their game. But to the rest of the sleeping Catholic laity, they get to present themselves as the bishop who must be followed and obeyed, never questioned. And when caught red-handed, he can offer some crying-in-his-soup apology and then go straight back to his ways.

We know a heck of a lot more than what we say publicly.

This is precisely why nothing ever changes in the Church of modernism, the Church of Nice, because for a myriad of reasons and rationalizations, the will to change is nonexistent. As circumstances would have it, we bumped into this bishop somewhat recently and exchanged greetings, albeit very briefly. He saw me for an instant, acknowledged me when I said "hello," and then, like a bolt of lightning, tipped his head and scurried away faster than a chariot ride to Heaven. The lesson here — even the ones you think are good, often are not. Just because they are better than Cupich or Tobin or McElroy doesn't mean jack. That’s a pretty low bar.

They are cowards who will not deal with the carnage in the Church in a straightforward manner because they know the personal cost they will have to pay. And like other "leaders" who are morally bankrupt or corrupt, they deflect from their own willful failures and refuse to consider the evidence — more specifically proof — that they themselves have asked for.

It’s a game to these men, not faith. Some of them are truly evil and wicked. Others are cowards, but none of them care enough about souls to do anything serious about it. The "good" ones have a cohort about them, usually wealthy enablers or lay Catholics high up in the Church establishment, who praise them and ignore their misdeeds so as to keep the laity peacefully asleep.

So as a brief mental exercise, knowing all this, which you would not know if Church Militant hadn't revealed it to you, answer the question: Who are the real "dividers"? And in case you are curious about exactly what report we sent to him, we've attached a link down below to Special Report: Episcopal Sodomy. No wonder he either didn't watch it or refused to acknowledge it — coward. Weak men are the bane of the Church and Western civilization.

  • Where’s the Apology?

    TRANSCRIPT

So after two years of absolute lunacy over the COVID scam, the CDC just quietly drops a press release last week and says, "We're all good now, folks." In one line —stunning in its understatement — the last two years are just brushed aside: "This guidance acknowledges that the pandemic is not over but also helps us move to a point where COVID-19 no longer severely disrupts our daily lives."

First, the World Health Organization announced last year that the so-called pandemic was over — so there's that. But the second half of that sentence really bears scrutiny: "COVID-19 no longer severely disrupts our daily lives." Let's be very clear: It was not COVID-19 that severely disrupted our daily lives, but the government using COVID-19 to disrupt our daily lives. And that extends to the U.S. bishops, many of whom are in league (or at least ideological lockstep) with the Marxist globalists in government.

    What did the government do?

They shut down the economy, caused the bankruptcies of thousands of small businesses, manufactured a reason to ignore all voting laws en route to an election theft, instituted mask mandates, gave Big Pharma trillions of your dollars for a so-called vax that does not work (ask Joe Biden). And, in the process, they made those same pharmaceutical companies legally exempt from any lawsuits or claims, fired countless military and civil servants who refused it and ordered all businesses with more than 100 employees to jab them all (that, eventually, got tossed out by the courts).

Every one of these "rules" had a massive knock-on effect, and those do continue to disrupt our daily lives in thousands of ways. The government handouts to average Americans have forever transformed the economy and the labor pool, as people just sat home and were paid to not work. The "vax" question tore families and marriages apart as people chose up sides.

They completely and totally went along with it.

The medical side effects are too numerous to count, including, most especially, the deaths. The "stay in your house" promotion opened the door for fraud through mail-in voting, which gave the nation the most unpopular and least competent president and administration in U.S. history. The current occupant of the White House — there because of the election shenanigans owing to COVID propaganda — has completely tanked the U.S. economy and brought about conditions most Americans alive today have no reference point for in their lived experience.

A supply-chain crisis has been overseen and advanced by a homosexual who took paternity leave with his perverted lover, as store shelves emptied. His response to the high price of gas was "Buy an electric car; it's good for the environment" — completely sidestepping the reality that the electric power grid they so despise (fueled by coal) is how you power your electric vehicle.

This is one giant ball of yarn so tangled up together that it's virtually impossible to disentangle. All we can ever really do is talk about aspects of it like gas prices, food shortages, supply-chain problems, the baby formula crisis, inflation, and life-altering medical side effects. But make no mistake, all of those (and many more) add up to one solitary thing: the complete transformation of the United States as we have known it.

And Joe Biden has not caused it; he is merely finishing it. His former boss, Obama, is the one who set it all into high gear, setting the stage for everything you see going on right now. He completely remade the nation's intelligence agencies through huge personnel changes, up and down the ranks. He set the table for Hillary to come in and finish it all off, but then Donald Trump happened. The man had to be stopped at all costs, shut down, with his "America first" rhetoric. He could upset the entire plan.

In reality, what he did was highlight the uni-party swamp and delay the implementation of operation "America last." The awareness he brought to their plans galvanized patriots across the country and created a civil war within the GOP to oust the RINO establishment. That war is in full swing right now; we'll see how it turns out. But having won in '16, despite having his campaign spied on and a Democratic fabricated dossier (which was nothing but lies) used as a pretext to spy on him and his campaign, the Deep State swung into high gear and hampered him for four years, largely through the exploitation of the media.

The constant hammering, coupled with the COVID-fueled election, was enough to get him out of office, and, now, every possible weapon in their arsenal is being used to prevent him from getting back into office. COVID has now outlasted its usefulness — time to shelve it. Perhaps it might be helpful again, but, for now, it's time for a new crisis strategy. So in the midst of all this willful destruction of a nation, what did the bishops do? They completely and totally went along with it.

Those weak, emasculated pansies couldn't wait to jump on the COVID-scare bandwagon, closing every parish and refusing sacraments, even to the dying. They also still, to this very day, propagate this falsehood right in the very church building themselves. Hand sanitizer by the gallon has become part of the "ritual" of the Mass. Face masks, while not generally demanded, are still "encouraged" and very visible — got to keep that fear level just right. And away from center stage, chancery officials who didn't want to get the jab were fired, and seminarians were kicked out and not allowed to return to their pursuit of the priesthood.

That last one keeps the herd thinned with weak, complacent "go-along" type men, regardless of their own personal orthodoxy. "Oh, the bishop said I have to have an abortion-tainted jab shot into me if I'm going to get ordained, so I have to be obedient." Heck, even to this day, right here in the archdiocese of Detroit, Abp. Allen Vigneron refuses to permit a priest from outside his diocese to come in long-term and help relieve the heavy workload of current pastors unless he is jabbed. Part of the globalist plan in locking down control is the destruction of the Faith. In fact, from a diabolical standpoint, all the rest of everything going on is in service to that.

We'll say it until we are blue in the face: Weak men suck.

Satan doesn't give a rip about economies and political policies and so forth, not in themselves. He cares about all this only in so far as it all advances his goal of the destruction of souls — brought about most expeditiously by the flattening of the Catholic faith. What better way to bring that about than through weak males (many of whom are homosexual, who cooperate with a Marxist agenda either through willingness or cowardice or confusion or indifference)?

Neither the government nor the bishops can just come out and say that they were wrong for the immense suffering they brought about temporally and, most especially, spiritually. Even those few in either arena who have come to realize the truth don't have the fortitude to actually say it and apologize. To apologize would be more than just saying "We're sorry." It would import something like, "We were wrong." It would expose the incompetence of some and the wickedness and deceit of others. Both would be bad, but the second one would be horrible. So don't hold your breath for an apology.

We'll say it until we are blue in the face: Weak men suck. They are destroyers of the good, and it doesn't matter whether they intended to or not. God will judge their intentions and punish them accordingly. But we live with the effects of their actions in the here and now. The entire civilization is on the brink. It may, in fact, have already fallen off the edge and would therefore be unsalvageable. But none of that matters. The only truly Catholic response is to fight. We fight. We leave it to God to handle the disposition of our fighting.

But whatever the outcome for the culture, the outcome for our souls is eternal life. It's why a saint once said, "The only way to win is to die fighting." Just don't expect to hear an apology along the way from those you are fighting.
