It takes an enormous effort to try and change a Church that is two thousand years old. It's comparable to turning around an aircraft carrier. It takes some time, but once the course is changed and there's a full head of steam, the sheer momentum is practically impossible to stop.
That's what the anti-traditionalist crowd in the Church is doing — and doing very well. We call them anti-traditionalist because not all of them would — in fact, the great majority — would never view themselves as modernists bent on destroying the Church.
This lot — useful idiots for the modernists — see themselves as just updating things in the Church to make her more relevant and relatable.
So a little nip here, a little tuck there and voila: same Church, different look and feel. Except, it's not the same Church. And that's what the anti-traditionalist crowd fails to understand and why they are such helpful tools of the modernist crowd. When you change the appearance of something, you change much more than the appearance. You change the perception in people's minds. In fact, that is the entire point of changing an appearance.
Take for example the patient who "goes under the knife" to supposedly look better, although it doesn't always work out that way. The person wants to present a different face to the world — literally. They want people to see them differently. That is the consciously intended effect.
But there is also a subconscious effect and this subconscious effect happens to the person. They begin to see themselves differently, understand themselves differently, feel differently about themselves. Perhaps that's not necessarily a big deal when you're talking about a middle-aged woman trying to feel better about herself, but it is a big deal when you are tampering with the self-understanding of the faithful.
All the millions of little "cosmetic" changes that have been introduced into the Church these last fifty years have served nothing but to make Catholic understand themselves completely apart from what authentic Catholicism really is. These changes absolutely matter because they have gotten down into the DNA of the faithful and resulted in them leaving the Church.
Holy Communion in the hand doesn't seem that big of a deal. You're still getting the Eucharist, right? What’s the big deal? Holding hands during the Our Father and swarming all over the Church to give the "sign of peace"? Nothing to see here folks.
Take for example this picture of Bp. Robert Barron standing proudly after Mass with his whole troop of girl altar boys. Not a big deal, you say? But, it is a big deal.
This image completely destroys the notion of the importance of the masculine in the sanctuary and that has been one of the leading problems in the Church the past fifty years — the downplaying of the masculine and the advancing of the emasculated.
Consider this, the sanctuary — the part of the Church that used to be set off by the Communion rail — is the womb of the Church. It is where Christ is, in a certain sense, conceived on the altar, brought down from Heaven and made real — incarnated.
This is in fact why the sanctuary is referred to as a sanctuary because the Holy becomes tangible and visible, physical and real in this womb.
Now, there is — or at least was — much symbolism in every action and location of the Church. That is before the modernist crowd moved in and changed everything and then enlisted the help of the anti-traditionalists, thousands of men like Bp. Barron, for example.
The symbolism, which speaks to the reality, of having only men in the sanctuary is that it is only men who enter the womb and through their presence initiate life. But when the sanctuary is overflowing with women, that sort of thought is impossible. It changes the sanctuary from a place of life to a place of worldly "equality" where women are just as good as men. Which is all fine and good, except the sanctuary is not a place for worldly concerns to state their case, through word or symbol.
It is the place of the holy, the word sanctuary has as its root, "sanct" — holy.
Now does Bishop Barron — or thousands of other clerics who are just fine with all this — do they all have the conscious thought on their minds to let me destroy the notion of the masculine and feminine and how that plays out in the presentation of the liturgy? Probably not. But some of them do. Those are the ones who made this "seemingly" visible change, but it's not just a visible change.
It speaks right on the issue of what is happening on the altar. in the sanctuary. You will notice in many older churches, there is a baldacchino over the altar. The most famous and recognizable one is in St. Peter's Basilica. It is essentially a canopy — as in the canopy over a bed, like a four post bed canopy.
Why is that there? Why are baldacchinos hanging over so many Catholic altars? Because it represents the location where Christ comes to love his Spouse, the Church, and bring forth the fruit of that supreme union of love — you and me — the sons and daughters of the Church, born from his marital embrace of his bride, the Church.
All of this reality is bound up and expressed in the symbolism of the male-only sanctuary, the architecture reflective of an actual marital bed. The greatest treasure of the Church, the Holy Eucharist, the Blessed Sacrament, the sacrifice of the Mass is all expressed and made visible through signs and symbols. This is why a little tweak here and a little nip and tuck there is so destructive.
When you change the appearance, you change not just the look, but the self-understanding. How many Catholics have any conception of the Real Presence these days? How many have any idea why the sanctuary would be visibly demarcated and only entered into in the liturgy by males?
To promote the idea of "nice" by showing how fun and sweet it is to have girl altar boys — and let's pose for pictures with them — is not serving the greater good of the Church.
There is no theology supportive of girl altar boys or women in the sanctuary, for that matter. Those are cosmetic changes initiated first by those who sought to destroy your faith by first destroying the way it looked. Then they enlisted the help of thousands of naive clergy who don't understand the significance of every movement, breath, image and subtlety of the liturgy, because they were poorly formed in seminaries which were controlled by the destroyers.
This is how you change a Church — the Catholic Church — by destroying its understanding of itself, of the necessity of masculinity, and replacing it with a silly cutesy heavily feminine presence that over time completely perverts the significance of the reality and turns it into something completely different.
Looks do matter. That's why the destroyers went after them with abandon. Change the appearance and you change the perception. That's the point.

If you've followed Church Militant or The Vortex with any regularity, you have probably heard us say at one time or another that the Church in America will be essentially extinct in about seven years — maybe, maybe 10 on the outside. This is owing largely to demographics and an epic failure on the part of leaders to not just try and stem the tide of secular humanism which has infected the Church on every level, but rather, the leaders’ willingness to rush headlong into the filth.
We've taken a number of hits about talking like this — just like we took hits for saying there was a crisis of homosexual men in the priesthood who were accelerating this decline. We were right then and sadly, we are right now as well. I mentioned this to a bishop I know in Texas and his response to me was: "Michael, that's quite the statement."
Yeah, I know. It is, but it's true. If it's quite the statement, it's only because it's true. The Church is in ruins in America. Does anyone seriously think that what just happened in formerly Catholic Ireland is isolated to just Irish Catholics? This is a worldwide failure of the episcopate to respond to the crisis of faith — largely owing to their own crises of faith — meaning many of them no longer possess supernatural faith. And — consider this for a moment — them having cast it aside, Almighty God is under no obligation to give it back to them.
The Church is plunging headlong into oblivion. We've been warned about it for decades. The future Pope Benedict, Fr. Ratzinger, said it back in the late 1960s. Pope Paul VI said it in the 1970s. All that would be left is a smattering of faithful. Father John Hardon warned of it over and over. All these men were contemporaries and they all saw events unfolding right before their eyes. All they did was follow these events to their natural conclusions. Just like Church Militant does when it hears multiple inside reports — by the hundreds — of the conditions of the Church nearly everywhere and looks at the demographics.
At some point you just have to say, as the old saying goes, a million people can't be wrong. Well, of course they can be, but the point remains. There is simply too much evidence to conclude anything other than extinction. To wit, for the first time we have ever seen, a priest is publicly stating this is true — all of it.
In an article entitled "The Evolution of the Catholic Church into Oblivion," Fr. Thomas Collins of Virginia lays it all out, saying what we've been saying here for years now. We've provided the article hyperlinked in the transcript for you on our website, and in the description on YouTube, to read this excellent piece and consider it.
I know we get the rap of being naysayers and negative and blah blah. Stupid criticisms because they are not true. If your house is on fire and I say, get out, your house is burning and you're gooing to die if you don't, am I a naysayer? Well, even if we are naysayers, at least we'll be living, breathing naysayers. You'll be dead.
What we want to do in this Vortex is simply point you to Fr. Thomas Collins article and suggest to you read it, carefully. In a few short paragraphs, he goes right down the last 50 years and points the finger at where the finger needs to be pointed in sizing up and assigning blame for the meltdown. The leadership of the Church.
He's only saying publicly what hundreds, if not thousands of priests say privately: The time has come to publicly admit this catastrophic failure and turn this around.
Happy reading, and thank you, Father, for your honesty.

In the wake of the visible collapse of the Faith in Ireland, you'd think that such a mauling of the Church would give rise to some serious repentance on the part of Irish prelates. You know, the kind of hard smack across the gob that actually serves to wake people up. But no. Even the worst route in modern political history for the Church doesn't serve to wake this lot from their dreamland.
They should have had the decency to resign en masse in the wake of the Irish homosexual clergy sex abuse scandal a few years back, but they were too asleep in that crisis as well. And that crisis precipitated this crisis which is actually much more of a ruination than a crisis. The comments made by most of the prelates in the aftermath of the wipeout are quite revealing. They take no responsibility for this disaster, throw their lot in with the child-killers and deal out even more junk as a remedy for the problem.
And the spokesman for the idiocy is none other than the lead Irish prelate, the Primate of All Ireland: Archbishop Eamon Martin. You'll recall that after a majority of Irish Catholics voted in sodomy as a marriage in 2015, he raced to the secular press to say that he understands how sodomites would feel happy about the vote.
So, first, with regard to accepting no responsibility, listen to this quote:
"For some years we have been aware of a drift away from our congregations, a changed culture, those who had 'quite consciously' rejected the church and were hostile to its teaching." He added the referendum "has confirmed Ireland is conforming to western liberal democracy." That blarney is pure bishop speak. Not a word of his or his brother bishops failure with regard to any of that.
Had they resigned and a whole group of new bishops been appointed by Pope Benedict, maybe that new group could have salvaged something of the Faith, preventing all this. Many who voted in favor of abortion specifically mentioned the lack of moral authority of the Church and how their vote was as much to "give it to the Church" as it was in favor of abortion.
Second point — with regard to throwing their lot in with the pro-abortion crowd, Martin actually said — using Bill and Hillary Clinton vocabulary — that given the results, Catholics would now have to function within this framework to make abortion "safe, legal and rare." Safe, legal and rare are buzzwords from the Planned Parenthood gang meaning abortion for everyone, all the time, anywhere, completely protected by every law and the courts, unregulated and viewed as an untouchable, unassailable human right.
I'm sure the child killers will greatly enjoy your help, Archbishop, in making the murder of thousands upon thousands of little Irishmen, "safe, legal and rare." And then of course — perhaps an even more inane comment, if that's possible — the archbishop of Dublin, Diarmuid Martin, said the following:
"Many will see the results of Friday’s referendum as an indication that the Catholic Church in Ireland is regarded today by many with indifference and as having a marginal role in the formation of Irish culture."
Martin’s comments came in a Mass in Maynooth, seat of the Irish seminary which, for decades, tuned out dozens and dozens of homosexual priests right under these bishops' noses and more than likely with their approval. These priests went on to not only abuse boys but undermine the Faith, setting the stage for this great mauling.
He added, in true social justice blather: "Pro-life means radically rediscovering in all our lives a special love for the poor that is the mark of the followers of Jesus."
Too bad the unborn, those struggling with same-sex attraction, the altar boys who their priests raped and they covered up and the souls of their flock that didn't make the cut when it came to categorizing "the poor."
He's right in observing that the Church is not seen as compassionate. It's seen as a sex abuse cover-up machine whose predominant interest is in controlling Irish society so that it can continue in its predatory evil, not to advance the kingdom of God, and that view is not without good reason.
As we pointed out in yesterday's Vortex, anyone who thinks the bishops of Ireland are somehow special in this regard simply does not understand what has happened in the Church these past fifty years with the infiltration of Freemasons, Communists and homosexuals, or some combination of all the above.
Satan has made mincemeat of the ordained and brought about an unprecedented ruin of the Church, all at the hands of proud, unapologetic clerics who give absolutely no indication of remorse or repentance or even responsibility for this chaos.
And if you're wondering why I'm so hot and bothered by this whole Irish mess, it is also personal to me. Not only has the Faith, which I love dearly, been completely stomped on by the Irish leaders and clergy, it's also a question of the fact that my heritage is Irish. My mother's entire family was from Ireland — County Roscommon and County Galway — they're all from there. My grandparents, as little children, were beaten viciously and attacked by the British Black and Tans.
Those children and their families were Catholic, and they were defending the Faith and they would not give up the Faith. That's my grandparents. I knew both my grandparents, I love them tremendously. They were willing to die for the Faith as little children and these men with their miters on and their collars who have run, just rampages across the Church with all their homosexual crap and their garbage, they deserve to be kicked out.
They should not. They have destroyed the patronage, the patrimony, of thousands upon thousands, tens of thousands of good Irish Catholic souls who, for centuries, were willing to die for the Faith, and these men have completely converted Ireland into a pagan culture worse than when St. Patrick landed on those shores.
And that goes for bishops conferences throughout the West.
Ask yourself this question: Had all this predatory homosexual clergy evil never been exposed, would the bishops have taken steps on their own to root out the evil? They didn't do it before the exposure, and there's nothing to indicate they would admit it now and fix it. In the face of this landslide, they still refuse to accept responsibility.
They should all resign. At least show some integrity — whatever little they can still muster.

So, with sufficient time to have passed to digest the evil of the abortion vote in Ireland, it's time to look at the reality of this beyond just the shores of Ireland. It's time to look at the truth of the condition of the Church throughout the West, not only in majority Catholic countries like Ireland but also Protestant-majority countries like the U.S.
Does anyone really think that if a referendum vote were conducted among just Catholics in America on the availability of abortion being legal or not that the vote would turn out much different than the Irish vote? We are all just more scandalized and flattened by the fact that this was Catholic Ireland.
Well, couple things there. First, Catholic Ireland hasn't been Catholic for at least 30 years. This diabolical outcome does nothing more than just bring into the light what has been the reality for a long time. Secondly, in country after country, whether Catholics are a majority or a minority, the Catholic response is still the same. Catholics support legalization of child murder, sodomy, contraception, divorce and civil remarriage and so forth. It just looks worse when it's a majority Catholic country but the underlying evil is still the same.
Catholics, by and large, have walked away from the Faith. How else would anyone explain this cartoon in Ireland's leading newspaper a couple days after the vote? It shows a doctor removing a Rosary from a woman patient representing Ireland and saying, "Mission Accomplished — Obstruction Removed."
Because that's what the Catholic faith in Ireland is seen to have become — an obstruction. And an obstruction that must be removed. And while there is a greater significance of course to a country whose population is majority Catholic holding such views — among a majority of Catholics in all countries — this is the commonly held view - the faith is something to be avoided, an impediment to happiness and personal liberty and so forth.
So, as you might imagine, the soul-searching has begun among at least some Irish prelates in the wake of the disaster. But even still, there is the hint of "they just don’t get it" in their comments. Eamon Martin, the archbishop of Armagh and primate of all Ireland, said Irish culture had changed and that people had drifted away from the Church. Diarmuid Martin, the archbishop of Dublin, said pretty much the same — that the results are a sign of the marginal role of Catholicism in the country today.
Well, if those two statements don't sum up the entire miserable state of the episcopate, not just in Ireland, but through nearly all of the West. It is stupefying just how completely clueless, tone deaf and out of touch these men who are bishops actually are.
What everyone else and their mother and brother have known for decades is news to these men. Archbishop Eamon Martin said that Ireland now had only a tiny minority of deeply committed Catholics representing what he called a "remnant." Well, at least he understands that much now. But it's been that way for decades. It just became really visible last week. Heck if it wasn't visible after Ireland got its first homosexual prime minister who is in a relationship with a younger doctor, and if it wasn't visible after a sweeping victory to legalize sodomy as marriage, what exactly would make these results shocking or even a surprise?
That prime minister, Leo Varadkar, said after the abortion referendum, "What we have seen today is the culmination of a quiet revolution taking place for the past 10 or 20 years." Aside from his timing, he's spot on. It's just been going on longer than he thinks. The rise of the homosexual predator priest and the covering-it-up bishop doomed the Church in Ireland the moment the first homosexual man was ordained.
And not just because of the obvious public relations fallout and resultant disaster in that area, but because these men have a completely different conception of the Faith. In short, they don't believe it. They see the Church as an institution to be used and manipulated to achieve some sort of personal agenda and feed their personal demons. Well, the gravy train just pulled into the station for all these homosexuals in the clergy who accomplished in a couple of generations what centuries of persecution by the British was never able to do.
And don't think for a moment that this is not the exact state of the Catholic Church in the U.S. as well. It just doesn't get as much attention because Catholics are not in the majority here. That's all. But every poll and study continues to show that among all Christian religions, Catholics lead the way in support for sexual immorality and killing of children in the womb. Through all of this, the U.S. bishops were silent. The Vatican was silent. The Irish bishops may as well have been silent.
But the problem runs deeper — much deeper than just an election or referendum vote. When evil rises to such a level that the general population actually votes on it, you've already lost the war. Homosexual bishops, homosexual priests lying, cheating, abusing, defrauding the faithful, depriving them of the truth and glory of the Divine is going to result in this kind of thing every time.
Hey Cdl. Dolan, still think there's no crisis in the Church? Hey Bp. Barron, still think we have a reasonable hope all men are saved? Here are two comments from enemies of the Church, two Irish women who voted for death to children. Their names are unimportant. What they say, says it all. They are the typical Irish woman.
"We are finally throwing off the shackles of the Catholic Church" and "We are a new country. The old Ireland is gone."
Good job gay sex-loving bishops and priests. Good job, doing the work of your father the Devil for all these decades. When you face your judgments, you will hear not only the voice of your Lord and Judge but also the voices of the millions of aborted children you were happy to sacrifice for your sodomy and personal gain. Your clocks are ticking and you don't care because you don't believe. But you will.
One day, for all eternity, you will.

Remember to sign up for our daily newsletter so you don't have to rely on liberal social media giants to channel our info to you. They are being more aggressive each day in screening out truthful information as a way to fight back against the conservative awakening — which brings us to the point of today's episode of The Vortex.
Tens of millions of Americans rightly feel their country is being taken away from them by leftist globalists anti-Americans. Without getting into the detail, it's the reason Donald Trump is in the White House and Hillary can't stop talking about the 352,817 reasons she lost — none of them her fault.
Church Militant follows politics closely for one reason: Politics is reflective of the culture and the culture is the arena in which our faith life must be lived out, for the good or the bad. A culture disposed to overarching Catholic Christian themes will be a place where it will be easier to raise up children into moral adults. And the opposite is true of course. A more coarse, immoral culture presents huge challenges for parents to instill solid theological values. A society that forgets about God soon comes to persecute those who do.
All of this is summed up in the world of politics. That's why it gets so vicious and divisive. Because those who really have their heads in the game understand that – it's not an understatement to say – what's at stake is the future of the world.
That dynamic is at play in every single election. Sometimes it's very evident, other times a little less so, but that's the heart of all politics: clashing worldviews. In our times, there are essentially two big worldviews: The majority view that man is the center and sum of his own existence and what used to be the majority view that God is the center of existence.
A million different choices fall from each of these views on every conceivable question and, many times, the division is revealed quite obviously. For example: the question of whether so-called transgenders should be allowed in the military. While there are true military readiness issues in play, there is also underlying those, the larger issue of the morality of transgenderism itself and if institutions like the military should be used as incubators for bringing about social acceptance with regard to this.
People who see the erosion of a God-centered morality being replaced with a "morality" of "do whatever feels good" are deeply troubled by the onslaught of the anti-God forces and their stunning string of political and legal victories. We have a hyper-sexualized culture which is directly responsible for the the failure of tens of millions of marriages, mass murder of children, sodomy as marriage, the far-reaching destruction of the family and an overall diminishment of the value of human life.
And on a political front, no candidate stands up and runs on these issues that way. They change the vocabulary from mass murder of children to "women's rights," same-sex so-called marriage to "equality" and so forth. They have to lie and change the language because most would not consciously go into a voting booth and simply vote for killing a child or the promotion of man-on-man sex or leaving children fatherless.
But, however its dressed up, that's what it is. In the rough and tumble world of politics — which is always swirling about and changing — some elections come about that are simply more important than others.
World events, political retirements, geographical population shifts, dominant political personalities occupying center stage — all sorts of things — combine to make the landscape of the political order always dynamic, never static. A good mental picture is the ocean — always moving and swirling and changing. Sometimes all that is a little more calm, other times its much more violent, brought about by winds, air temperature, the shifting of the earth plates, etc.
The upcoming midterm elections this November here in the U.S. will be violent, to continue to the ocean analogy, perhaps more so than any midterm in living memory. The establishment suffered a major setback when Trump defeated Hillary coming up on two years ago now and they are bloodthirsty for revenge. They even went so far as to create a lie that Trump colluded with the Russians to steal the election from Hillary and have spent millions of federal tax dollars on the Mueller investigation to keep spinning that yarn, without the slightest shred of evidence to support it.
So hell-bent were they to defeat Trump that's what now becoming more clear is the Obama White House orchestrated an elaborate illegal plan to cover up Hillary's crimes and make up, out of thin air, a mess load of fictitious crimes about the Trump campaign. You can never forget that the big picture — the overarching determinant is a war on God and morality — even if that's not always clear, even to those directly involved in it. Two worldviews and there's not enough room in this town for both of them.
So these upcoming midterms are the first substantive opportunity the Empire has to Strike Back. They want to recapture the the U.S. House, make Nancy Pelosi speaker again and start impeachment proceedings against Trump to render him essentially a lame duck until the 2020 elections by keeping the Russia Russia Russia obstruction obstruction obstruction narrative going.
Over on the Senate side, they obviously want control there as well, even more so actually, because the Senate controls the courts and it was the weaponizing of the courts against morality that they were able to rain down such damage on the culture the past fifty years.
But in the ever swirling world of politics — think of the ocean analogy again — some things are not lining up well for the socialist Democrats, most especially the alignment of the stars in the battle for control of the Senate.
In short, there are many more Dems up for re-election than there are Republicans, and a healthy number of those Dems face the prospect of defeat because they are from states that Trump won back in 2016. So there are two tracks so to speak at play in these midterms. The first is expanding the GOP lead in the Senate and getting more and more good judges on the courts, especially the U.S. Supreme Court. The more Republican victories in the Senate races, the greater that likelihood.
But just expanding — which is likely as we sit here today — isn't good enough because two years later are the 2020 Presidential elections.
If Trump were to lose election — if he does indeed seek reelection — then a small Republican advantage in the Senate coming out of these midterms — could be wiped out and the very real prospect of a federal government completely controlled by the Democrats could become reality.
The Senate is the firewall against that prospect in this year's midterms. If the Republicans pick up just 2–4 senate seats, that might not be good enough. Five or more seat switching from Democratic to Republican control could well be a good enough insurance policy come 2020 to block complete control by the Party of Death over the U.S. government.
Some of this analysis of course necessarily depends on looking into a crystal ball, much like life requires some level of discernment about the future, like retirement investing for example, or what the value of a house might be in 10 years. But you can't stand still and just do nothing.
So the 2018 midterms are about two things: Keeping control of the Senate to ensure two more years of good judges getting seated on the courts. And keeping sufficient control as an insurance policy to block a complete Democratic takeover of Washington in 2020 — because that would be a disaster for people of faith.
And this is all about faith, faith in God by people who don't want to see their children grow up in world where bathrooms aren't safe, religion is mocked, they are made to feel inferior and have to deal with laws aimed at destroying their faith.
Politics really are important because the war of worldviews is important.

[Mark Zuckerberg — transcript unavailable]
There it is for you. He couldn’t be any more direct or clear. That of course was Facebook founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg speaking at the somewhat annual F8 conference. He’s talking about his plans to make sure that Facebook is weaponized against what he terms "fake news." Problem is, he's the one determining what’s fake and what's not.
He is instrumentalizing artificial intelligence — AI for short — to quarantine any potential fake news or hate speech posts and then a team of humans will manually go through those pooled posts and determine what is fake, or hate. Then the humans will either let it go through or kill it before it ever makes it your feed.
Immediately following the F8 conference, Zuckerberg met with a pretty large contingent of various media outfits to set some parameters for determining what is fake news.
The Problem? Well, for starters, here’s a list of the media outlets who were at the meeting being consulted, according to BuzzFeed:
BuzzFeed News, The Information, Quartz, The New York Times, CNN, The Wall Street Journal, NBC, Recode, Univision, Barron’s, The Daily Beast, The Economist, HuffPost, Insider, The Atlantic and the New York Post, among others.
To the best of any research Church Militant can unearth, there were no politically conservative media outlets at the meeting. They don't seem to have been invited. Yep, Facebook will be screening out news that liberal news organizations determine is fake. That should be the punchline to a joke, except the whole thing is no laughing matter. Zuckerberg specifically said that they are going to lose money on this project — they're hiring 20,000 people to screen the posts.
Wanna take a wild guess on the political leanings of the "screeners"? Additionally, he freely admits Facebook is doing this specifically in readiness for the upcoming midterm elections this November. We are not joking when we say these midterms are perhaps the most vital the nation has ever faced. More on that tomorrow.
The Left recognizes the monumental importance of these midterms and is pulling out all the stops, and of course that means seizing back control of social media that they sort of fell asleep at the switch at during the 2016 U.S. Presidential elections.
The liberal media giants are blocking, zapping, censoring, squashing any politically or theologically conservative voice they discover through their AI, software, algorithms or plain old-fashioned reporting from users. Google even blocked all posts and links of pro-lifers in Ireland about the upcoming abortion referendum later this week. Yep, they freely admitted it. And not just that, they also doubled down and said this was part of a larger worldwide effort to ensure, what they call, "election integrity."
You do see where all this is going, right? We have been saying for the past month, and now, given Zuckerberg’s comments and Google’s actions, we are going to say it again and keep saying it. Times have changed. The liberal media giants are determined not to let the peasants rise up again and seize the day. They know most people are lazy and sit back and wait for their news and information to come to them.
We cannot do that. It can't be that way if you want the truth. These people are hell-bent on making sure that the truth does not get to you. That's what all this talk and technology and agenda setting is all about.
You cannot become isolated. You must get engaged. You have to be proactive and go out and get your news, not wait for them to hand it to you because: They. Ain't. Gonna. Did you just hear the man? Please do the best work around you can with all this and come directly to Church Militant.
As a way to combat all this (we recently set up brand new notification sign up so we can send you our stuff) and you don't have to rely on Facebook, or Google or Twitter to play it straight with you. Because. They. Won't.
Please, whatever you are doing right now, click on the provided link right on this page, give us your email and let us start sending you our material directly, as opposed to waiting for the other guys to send it to you. We already know from experience that Facebook changed its algorithm about 20 months ago and wiped out the number of new friends on the page. We went from a few thousand a week — every week — to a few dozen, and it has never come back.
Betcha Planned Parenthood didn't stall.
Please sign up now. Click the link and stay connected to us directly.
You heard it from straight from the horse’s mouth. They are mad, and they are determined to block truth by labeling "hate" and "fake" and then blocking it.
Go around them and sign up directly.

Servant of God, Fr. John Hardon, a solid, faithful Jesuit priest, when that was still possible, once wrote of his time as a seminarian in Rome when he had been appointed to be director of the graduate library at the Gregorian Pontifical University in Rome.
His superior had instructed him to get the library in order and retrieve various heretical manuals that had been checked out by other seminarians.
"Before I had retrieved one half of the heretical books, I had become the agent of orthodoxy and therefore the sworn enemy of the Modernists, who were updating the Catholic faith to its Modernist theology. I had doors slammed in my face. I lost friends whom I had considered believers. ... [This experience] taught me that the faith I had so casually learned could be preserved only by the price of a living martyrdom. This faith, I was to find out, is a precious treasure that cannot be preserved except at a heavy price. The price is nothing less than to confess what so many others either openly or covertly denied."
This happened between 1949 and 1951. Notice the years. Ten years before the Second Vatican Council. And it is worth noting that Fr. Hardon spent much of his life under the authoritarian rule of the modernist establishment. He was a white martyr for the faith — constantly derided and abused by not only his fellow Jesuits, but also much of the Church establishment, which had and continues to buy into various aspects of the Modernist heresy.
For example, the archdiocese of Detroit, where Fr. Hardon spent much of his later years and where he died 18 years ago, is the headquarters of the ridiculous Protestant evangelization program known as Alpha. It is essentially run out of the seminary here and ancillary locations and presents a completely watered down version of the faith that often begs the question whether it is even Christian, much less Catholic.
The excuse Abp. Vigneron and his chancery/Alpha cronies offer to keep pushing this nonsense is, well, it's not intended to be catechesis, but an evangelization effort. That's not only stupid, it's insulting.
What on God's green earth are you actually evangelizing if not appropriate and honest catechesis? Church Militant has prepared a complete analysis of Alpha available on our website in the FAQ section. Just click on it and read it. All the salient points about the problems with Alpha are listed right there.
To be sure there are many others, but this is more than enough to let you know this should never come near a Catholic parish and be touted as even approaching the truth of the Faith. No less an intellect than Cdl. Raymond Burke has explicitly condemned Alpha as being not Catholic in any meaningful way.
Now, we mention this in conjunction with Fr. Hardon, because this Servant of God was so disturbed by the state of catechesis in the Church that he actually started his own program known as the Marian Catechist program. When he died, he left charge of the worldwide effort to the care of Cdl. Burke who, when analyzing Alpha, declared that none of that poison should ever be used by those involved in the Marian Catechist program.
And, worth noting, you search high and low for any mention of Mary — you know, the Mother of God — in the Alpha program.
Talking about things like the Assumption and the Perpetual Virginity and Immaculate Conception are just too much, a bridge too far, when attempting to sit down for tea and crumpets with the easily offended "seeker" crowd. Thank God the Apostles didn't use Alpha.
Allow us to ask you, when saintly holy men like Cdl. Burke and Servant of God Fr. John Hardon are warning of errant catechesis and evangelization and modernist heresy permeating every nook and cranny of the Church, what exactly does the clergy and archbishop of Detroit think that will look like?
Do they expect a parade of demons down Woodward Avenue on floats with big banners saying we are going to destroy your faith? Or would they be much more subtle about it and make it all appear "reasonable" and "necessary" to meet people where they're at? Alpha comes right out and says that Scripture is the authority in the Church. That's a lie.
But hey, Modernist bishops and archbishops don't care, really, about that. It's close enough for soup, you know, as long as we can reach people and they aren't offended and will consider coming into the Church.
Yep, consider coming into the Church based on half-truths and watered-down tenets.
Father John Hardon was an eyewitness to the Modernist treachery and heresy back before Vatican II. The major archbishop in the United States who sent the Church in America reeling immediately after Vatican II was the cardinal-archbishop of Detroit, John Dearden, who is still worshipped as a god by the older clergy in Detroit — heck, he ordained most of them.
If Fr. Hardon were alive today here in Detroit, he would see the soft-pedaling of the Modernist heresy, just under a different name.
Alpha. Is. Not. Catholic.

I'm Michael Voris reminding you to sign up for our Church Militant daily newsletter that we are now producing as a means to leave behind the censorship of the leftist social media giants who prefer to prevent you from receiving content like ours.
In the Old Testament, the Lord God lamented how Israel had betrayed His love for them and taken up with the world, accusing them of adultery and harlotry — words you should not ever be desirous of hearing from God being spoken at you. Fast forward to the condition of the Church today, and what do we see? The same phenomenon with a slightly different spin.
So many of the leaders have abandoned their sacred role as father and have become adulterers. And yes, we need to call it what it is. They have abandoned the flock time and time again and taken up with their unholy mistress: the world. They are cheating husbands and unloving fathers. They are cheating — cheating on their spouse, the Church — romancing the world on the natural level, at the supernatural cost of loving their children.
And not only are they cheating and abandoning, they are trying to force the children to accept their mistress as their true mother. The world is not our Mother — the Bride of Christ is Our Mother and you have no right to bring your whore into the parishes and religion classes and schools and make us accept her as our mother. You can put as much lipstick and perfume all over her as much as you want, but the world, your mistress, can never be a mother to us.
The bishops who do this present her as something good and even noble. They dress her up in the seamless garment of social justice and tell us she is holy. They adorn her with the odor of "encounter" and embracing of sin and even sacrilege and call it mercy. No amount of fantasy or sinful lipstick will conceal the harlotry of the world.
Our true mother on Earth is the Church. The world is little else than a cheap floozy who many of you have chosen to bed. Long ago, you lost your supernatural faith and cleared the ground before you for your descent into adultery. You have overseen the institutionalization of one heresy or dissent after another. You have corrupted the House of the Lord with your liturgies strewn with abuses and even sacrilege to accommodate the world — your whore.
You have failed to preach the glory of our Mother and instruct us in Her ways, failing to raise up good sons and daughters. You are cheating spouses who have abandoned your children.
And now, as you flail about trying to salvage your adulterous relationship, the prostitute you have taken up with is abandoning you. The world you became so enamored with and accommodating toward now mocks you in the public square; ignores you when you speak and brutally attacks your children.
And still you persist in your lust for the world — pushing for acceptance of sodomy, sacrilegious Holy Communions, interreligious Holy Communion. Is nothing sacred to you? You deny the glory of your spouse by refusing to warn of Hell, if you even believe in it, which is highly dubious. You reduce to a mere man the Son of God in whose name you were raised to be in His image, in persona Christi.
He died for His Church. You debase Her. You allow ignorance and malice to proliferate. You allow souls to perish, both in this life and the next. And for what? So the world will not reject you? So the prostitute who has charged you the cost of your own salvation to bed her will parade you around in the public square and show you off and stroke your egos, making you feel as though you are somehow relevant?
You have traded away things of the divine for the profane and you have brought ruin to the House of the Lord. Do not pretend that as you age and approach the grave, you should not be trembling in untold fear. Yet how many of you will be more concerned with how the world will remember you than how your Lord and Master will judge you? What have you to show for all your social justice, your accommodation to evil, your sleeping with the Devil — for that is who the whore really is when all the makeup comes off.
You have presided over the greatest diminishment of the Church in 2000 years, and for what? Occasional faint praise from the Luciferian media? An appearance at a display mocking Catholic treasures dedicated to the Holy Sacrifice? Government largesse by the billions accepted by you to baptize their evil ends?
What manner of filth you have brought into the Holy Temple, by not just your actions, but your unholy silence that you tout as "prudence," debasing one of the cardinal virtues. You have brought a whore into the Temple and she has infected your children.
How loathsome, the words of Our Lord ring very loud here, you are hirelings who abandon the sheep. Pray, good Catholics, that they may repent of their evil, these bishops who will not preach the truth of the Church and die for it if they must.
And if they will not repent, you must still reject their mistress brought into your midst by them.
Their adultery will not go by unpunished.

With the approach of Father's Day, we wanted to reach out on the subject of masculinity — manhood. The culture has denuded the concept of masculinity. It has robbed most young men of any living memory of what manhood is really all about, and for Catholic men in particular to have fallen prey to the notion of "toxic masculinity" is to bring about the end of civilization. There is a toxic masculinity and we see it evidenced in gangs and Hollywood role models of violent sexually-aggressive males and arrogant professional athletes who think the sun rises and sets in their physical prowess.
But radical feminists have seen fit to lump anything and everything that is authentically masculine into the category of "Toxic Masculinity." Funny how they miss that they themselves are prime examples of toxic feminism, but that's another topic. Manhood — which is properly ordered to protection through sacrifice — requires all those qualities of authentic masculinity: discipline, strength, focus, drive, persistence, comradery, obedience, self-control. Manhood is all about protecting the weak, making those in our care safe. Men provide safety and security and they do this at the cost of themselves.
In short: real men are tough, first with themselves.
They aren't self-indulgent cry babies. They die to protect and defend the community. In the natural order, this has most often been evidenced historically in the fact that men go to war. They are more physically equipped for it than women. And that’s not discrimination. It’s just a fact, even if there might be a rare exception here and there. But you don’t build the defense of an entire nation around exceptions.
All of this twisted thinking about toxic masculinity being the same as manhood has infiltrated deeply into the thinking of Church leaders these days, and they are wrong. Catholic men — real men — are the pressing need for the Church right now, at this moment in history. In truth that is always the case, but some moments in our sacred history are more urgent that others and, behold, we are in one of those moments.
So what is a Catholic man?
Well, manhood, as we said, is about providing safety and security to those we love and care about. That is manhood on the natural level. And please note that even the most committed atheist can be a spectacular father on the mere natural level. He can hold down three jobs, deprive himself of sleep, work seven days a week, find time to teach his boys manners and civility and go to their sporting events. That is natural virtue — and recall, the 'vir' in virtue is Latin for man, as in male. But when we introduce the Catholic aspect of manhood into the manhood definition, things become greatly elevated.
My first concern, as a Catholic man, is that you get to Heaven because the Catholic man is both supernatural as well as natural. He exercises his virtue on two different planes at the same time. He protects your body, but he most importantly protects your soul. Both matter. One matters more — much more. In order to be an authentically Catholic man, the man must be above all a man of prayer. All authentic manhood is derived from God and the loving example of the Father — the first person of the Blessed Trinity — whose first, but not only, concern for us is our soul.
But remember His Divine Son, who, out of love and protection and safety for us, He did not spare, gave us a glimpse and revealed that His concern for us is so manifold that even every hair of your head is counted by Him. Prayer is relationship to God. It's all we will do in eternity, please God, be in perfect relationship with God, known completely by Him and knowing that we are completely known by Him.
This is the example of the Father to us. So authentic Catholic men are men of prayer because that is, when the final guns go off, being in closest relation to God, which is the perfect definition of Heaven. So men who do not pray — or pray a little — can never be authentically Catholic men. They might begin to approach that goal. They will never embrace it into themselves.
But now we encounter a problem. For too long, men have stayed somewhat out of touch with religion and prayer, at least on a regular basis. It's viewed, if even subconsciously, as women's work. Church and the parish, etc., being somehow relegated to the haunt of the feminine. Given the dismal state of most parishes these days, that's not a totally unjustified opinion, but it is still incorrect. The Eternal Logos, the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity, came to earth and assumed the flesh of, not just humanity, not just mankind, but of a male — a flesh and blood body of a man.
If that doesn’t instantly and completely blow up the the thought of "religion is for women," then you're brain dead. Men must be in communion with Heaven, and that is done specifically through prayer. In fact, the definition of prayer is being in communion with Heaven.
And allow us to suggest that a perfect prayer for men is: the Rosary. It takes discipline. It takes focus. It takes exercising will power. It needs sheer force to form the habit. It requires sacrifice, concentration and dedication — in short, all the qualities that make a man, a man; a Catholic man.
The Holy Rosary is anything but feminine. Most of the great saints and holy men of the past nearly thousand years prayed it incessantly — giant men, warriors of the faith. It is precisely why I wrote the book The Weapon — to dispel the notion quietly residing in many guys' minds that the Rosary is more of a girl thing.
Not sure why that thought is there, but there seems to be some reality to it. It's why Catholics always talk about the "little old ladies in the back of the Church" saying the Rosary. That is just wrong. The Rosary is a weapon, a deadly weapon to Satan.
Dads praying the Rosary are killer dads, deadly dads to the sworn enemy of their families: the serpent. It's a Gatling gun lighting up the diabolical with a ferocious incoming assault — the ammo clip being provided by our 12-star general, the Mother of God, who commands that this be prayed. To rattle men's cages and wake them up to the need to become warriors, soldiers, militants literally armed with their Rosary weapons, we are making a special offer for Father's Day.
From now until Father's Day, we are making The Weapon available for just $15 — two for $25 if you have more than one man in your life who needs to step it up. Inside these pages, you will find a different approach to the Rosary than you normally see. We call out the spiritual combat, the war present in every single mystery. And believe me, every mystery is strewn with spiritual combat.
In fact, that's the point of the Rosary: to awaken within us, especially men. Our high calling to turn and concentrate our male powers, elevated by grace, on the enemy of our loved ones.
How do we rightly defend their souls? By embracing the war and the sacrifice needed to fight it.
Please click on the link, order your copy or copies today and ask your dad, husband, son, brother, uncle, to embrace the battle for your sake.
Authentic manhood is ordered to holiness. There are very few more sure fire ways to holiness than the Holy Rosary.

Cardinal Dolan of New York just doesn't get it. In his great rush to be relevant, he is just selling off the Faith. His latest pandering? Giving a very duplicitous, deceptive, deflective opinion on Pope Francis’ grossly mistaken personal opinion that God makes gays "that way."
He came out and agreed — this from the prelate prancing along at the head of the St. Patrick's Day parade where he orchestrated the allowing of active sodomites into the parade and then lied about it, saying "the group [OUT@NBC Universal] does not support the gay agenda." Riiiiight!!!
And no, Your Holiness and Your Eminence, God does not make someone gay, any more than He makes ephebophiles and pedophiles "their way." Or alcoholics, or those with advanced, overdrive libidos, or the "criminal gene" — a proven scientific fact, unlike the "gay gene," or a host of other sinful desires acted on.
See, word in Rome is that Dolan has fallen out of favor with Pope Francis and many of the ruling elites in Rome — perhaps too much buffoonery doesn't fit their style. He's apparently not radical enough for them, which ought to tell you how really bad things are in the eternal city right now.
So a more cynical mind could look at this latest implosion of Dolan's and say he's trying to get back in the good favor of the guys in charge and agreeing with them when they say something out of place or damaging to the faith — for his own personal gain of course. Now, what's particularly disingenuous of Cdl. Dolan here is how he presented his case and how he left unaddressed the real problematic statement attributed to the Pope.
Dolan chose to focus his comments on just one thing the Pope is supposed to have said: that God loves gays. Well, big deal. God loves everyone, unconditionally. He died for everyone — that's redemption. He so loved the world that gave His only begotten Son. So it's hardly earth-shattering news that God loves gays, or murderers, or bank robbers, or drug addicts, or child rapists, or adulterers, nor fornicators — you name it — He loves them.
But he loves them because He is love, not because He approves of the sin. In fact, God hates sin.
And those who die in their sin are His enemies. In truth, those who live in their sin have made themselves His enemies, but He still loves them and desires their salvation, for God wills that all men be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth — the truth that sets you free — free to exercise your will to choose eternal life with Him.
But that God loves gays is not all that was reported to have been said by the Pope, nor of course denied by the sinister characters running parts of the Vatican.
However bad the Pharisees and scribes were — so much so that Our Blessed Lord called them serpents and a brood of vipers — they at least dd not have the grace of office of the priesthood.
This lot in charge today. Imagine what He will call them at their judgments if they die in this state. And as a sidebar, Our Blessed Lord called people animals so Fr. Martin and the liberal media going nuts needs to just step off. Pope Francis is purported to have said more than God loves gays. He said, according to reports, that God made them gay, actively willed this condition for them and loves them in this condition — the condition of sinning being the unmistakable conclusion.
But deceptive Dolan never addresses this aspect of what the Pope said. And in truth, that aspect is the entire crux of the matter, not that God loves sinners, but that he created them to sin and simply overlooks it or even applauds it. This is typical Church of Nice fare: lie, deceive, side-step, warp the meaning of something, deflect, skip over, ignore.
The time has come for faithful Catholics to become incensed and enraged over this Clintonian type double-speak. Heck, we should, at some point in the near future, wait for Cdl. Dolan to say something like, it depends on what the meaning of the word is, is.
He publicly stated there was nothing offensive to Catholic sensibilities at the horrific Met Gala a couple weeks ago — standing not too far from the sadomasochism head mask draped in rosaries as chains. Yep, good grief, who could be offended at that?
He lied about his involvement in the sordid, filthy Fr. Peter Miqueli scandal and still to this day has not come clean about his homo-laden chancery that enables that illness. He is the man behind the scenes who brought active sodomites into the parade celebrating the patron saint of Ireland and then marched in front of them, not to mention had us tossed out when we confronted him about his scandal.
And now, a deflection of the most insidious kind.
Agree with the most innocuous part of a statement — that even Satan would agree with and say nothing about the real problematic part — thus leaving open for reasonable minds to conclude, you agree with that part as well. And for the record, the reverse question needs to be asked based on all his past scandals revolving around the gay issue, does Dolan actually agree that God actively wills, makes/creates someone to be gay and then is fine with it?
It could easily be the case that he does agree with that, but is a bit nervous about coming out with it publicly, so he "signals" it, dog whistles it, so to speak. This homoheresy has got to be brought to an end, and it doesn't matter who the person is that occupies a given office in the Church.
As long as they support it, in whatever way they support it, directly like Fr. Martin, or signaling their support by silence and deflection, they need to be called out. They can all go to Hell if they are so desirous of it, but they don't have a right to have others follow in their wake.
