"To Be Continued” is a series on the book of Acts, telling the story of the birth and rise of the early church. Apart from being a fascinating piece of history, this book contains a great many lessons for us to learn as we continue their mission—to be witnesses of Jesus throughout the world. This week we follow Paul as he begins his second missionary journey, and we see a familiar character take the lead as the captain of this trip.
Throughout history, the church has faced serious questions that threaten to create divides and rifts in the community. But as Acts 15 shows us, these questions can be handled well and bring life to the church. This week, we take some of the lessons learnt from that episode to tackle the tricky question of women in eldership.
