Church of Christ Mission Viejo

Ed Bush brings us a message on the subject of Pure Joy. Often we have to deal with a lot of bad things, but we need to have perseverance to get through, not forgetting that Christ is always there.

Aaron Stevens brings us the lesson on this Mother's Day Sunday. He tells us about the most well know mother in the Bible Mary, and how we can learn from the strength she showed.

We are never off duty. No matter where we are, or what we are doing, there is an opportunity for Proclaiming the Gospel of Christ to those around us. Both in words, and how we live.

We are independent people, but if you have come to believe that Jesus in the Son of God, you relinquish your independence. We are not our own, we have been bought with a price. The price was Jesus blood shed for us. We should live as if we belong to the Lord, not to ourselves, or others. Living in a way that brings honor and glory to God in all things.

Ed Bush brings delivers his Easter message in a sermon in three short parts, celebrating the resurrection of Jesus, along with singing from the congregation. First discussing The Last Supper, then The Garden and Crucifixion, followed by The Resurrection. The message of the cross is what Jesus did for others. The message we need to take, is that it is about helping others know Jesus.

On this Palm Sunday, Ed Bush tells about his experience of talking about faith to a famous politician when they shared a flight together. In this message, The Greatest Confession, we learn Jesus lives in us giving ourselves to other people. We each have amazing opportunities everyday, that we sometimes miss. Our lives are the living confession, and we can show others what Jesus means to us.

We can be a living expression of the confession of Jesus. The obedience that comes from giving allows people to see our confessions of the gospel of Christ. The opportunity we have to give to others, brings blessing to us as well.

Ed Bush's message today, is God Is Able. God is able to do anything for us as individuals. However, there are things we must also do ourselves. Among those things, be cheerful, generous, enthusiastic, and finish what we start. Ed shares more in his lesson today on how God can bless us when bless others.

Ed Bush delivers the message "Excel in the Grace of Giving". A lesson about giving more than money. Sharing the joy of Christ, by what we we can give to people in our lives.

Aaron Stevens brings us the message this morning on "Expect The Unexpected" God has a plan for all of us, and it isn't always what we expect it to be, but we need to trust him.
