We want to move beyond private faith or secluded faith and into public faith. We respect everyone always. We love everyone always and we believe the gospel is for everyone always. “Everyone” can only be influenced one person at a time. Who is your one?

Somewhere, at some time in your life, someone invited you into a life with God, and that invitation has made all the difference. We as a church exist for those who are not here yet.

True greatness is demonstrated by the power to enter into the pain and weakness of another and influence it towards grit, not in separating yourself from it, not getting sucked into it.

In our striving for grit, we must not forget that we don’t earn our own lives, we find passion and perseverance by falling under and yielding ourselves to the power of the worlds greatest hero, Christ. He is the one who is guiding and leading of our lives, and we belong to Him for His glory and purposes.

Words have amazing power to give life or to kill it. In our culture, a people who would take control of their tongue and keyboard would be light in the darkness and life to those around. It takes great strength to exercise verbal discipline.

Saving faith reveals itself in works. Works do not accomplish salvation, but the evidence that faith is real is demonstrated in how we actually live. Bringing our whole lives under the leadership of the worlds true King is the goal of the Christian Life.

Discrimination against the poor violates Kingdom Law. God’s family doesn’t belong to any one culture. Each culture images God to the others and brings it's own set of cultural idols.

Obedience to the word of God is the mark of a genuine christian, and so hearing truth, responding in truth and speaking truth are natural signs of God’s children.

There is a way to endure trials that can bring out the worst in us. This response to trials is what James warns us about. Wisdom is the only way we can go through troubles in a way that grows us. One part of wisdom is understanding that trouble’s source is not God, but God will use anything he can get his hands on for our good.

Too much sugar tastes good going down, but can be toxic to your blood. Resentment is the same... It feels good going down, but can become toxic to your life. We cannot live in peace, joy, and love if we harbor resentment.
