Janis Grady was born into the Church of Scientology. She joined the Sea Org at age 11 and was one of the first four original messengers in L. Ron Hubbard's Commodore's Messenger's Organization (CMO). Janis served L. Ron Hubbard aboard his flagship Apollo and presents the listener with unique insider details about Ron and and Mary Sue Hubbard and life aboard the Apollo. Janis' mother was Yvonne Gillham Jentzsch who founded the Scientology Celebrity Centre in 1968. Yvonne was an original Sea Project member in 1966. The Sea Project became the Sea Org in 1967. Janis' father is the legendary Scientology Peter Gillham. Janis' sister Terri Gamboa was also an original messenger along with Janis.
