Change doesn't occur by desire alone. It requires new disciplines and habits that form who we are. One of these disciplines is feeding on the word of God. Why is scripture necessary for change? And how do I do it?

Do we truly desire to be changed or to be comfortable? We often desire to be changed but not at the cost of our comfort. But it is often through trials, testing, challenges, and discomfort that God produces change.

Where does change happen? What or who does God use to create change in us? This passage helps us see that in order for us to truly change, we must not be alone. God calls us to grow with 'all the saints' (vs. 18).

Change requires power. It takes power to think differently, feel differently, and live differently. But where is the source for this change to happen? Do we believe we have the will power to change? Are we relying on self help or the Spirit's help?
