Church of the Nazarene Dalipuga

Sermon from Church of the Nazarene Dalipuga

What might Jesus have meant us to understand about our purpose when he

described the Church as “Salt and Light of the earth’?

Jesus didn't came here on earth so that you and I could go to heaven. He came to proclaim both in word and deed that His Nation (Kingdom of God) is already here and among us. Would you be part of that reality?

"When the Church is a movement, it becomes a place of refuge for an unbelieving world. The Church becomes the place where seekers finally find the God they were searching for. The Church becomes the place for the broken and the weary to find the healing and the help they’ve cried for. The Church becomes the place where the lonely and outcast are finally embraced and loved in the community of Christ. When the Church becomes a movement and not a monastery, she becomes a place of transformation for the very culture from which we run in fear." (Erwin McManus - Unstoppable Force)

“Poverty is the result of relationships that do not work, that are not just, that are not

for life, that are not harmonious or enjoyable. Poverty is the absence of shalom in all its meanings.” (Bryant L Myers, Walking with the Poor)

Kung naa na ka kang Jesus, naa na pud nimo ang tanan.
