We’re often told to ‘be the change you wish to see’ or to ‘be on the right side of history.’ In the book of Jeremiah, we find two different endings to Jerusalem’s story being announced: one of enemy invasion and another of peace and safety. Both prophecies are said to be 'from the Lord', but which one is truly of God? Even more importantly, what is the ending of our story?

There is no end to what can offend us. The Bible is pretty clear that offenses will come our way sooner than later, so where is the solid ground that keeps us from not losing our faith in God and humanity?
