Why has the materialist explanation been so unsatisfying even to the atheist? It seems the secular world is haunted by a longing for enchantment and is left with s sense that something is missing. The world is hungry for Good News and homesick for a place they have never been.

Conversion is always a process, and people move from holding beliefs and practices that oppose biblical principles to a blend of old and new. But as the Word of God continues to impact our lives, we move closer and closer to walking in a true Christian lifestyle.

The next part is BELONG: What does it mean to belong to this Kingdom of God community? Finally, we will explore BECOME: What does it mean to grow in Christ and His ways?

The believer never looks up to see an empty cosmos but recognizes the creator and sustainer of all things at work in his life. From here, we understand that gratitude is tied to our dependence on Him. This is what shapes a life of faith.

Psalm 73 is a graphic description of a man of God struggling with a bad attitude. When he compared the prosperity of the wicked to his own sacrifice and obedience, he concluded that serving God didn’t seem to matter one way or the other. His honest struggle still resonates with us today.

We prefer to identify as eagles and lions. Yet Jesus reminds us of our relationship to Him as one of sheep to a shepherd. Coming to grips with this power dynamic is the key to our health and peace throughout life.
