Submission to God's Word is the key element to living "In Christ". How can I expect to live "in Christ or through Christ" when I refuse to submit to God's Word, especially when it conflicts with my own desires/traditions.

Living Submitted is living surrendered. Living Surrendered is to live preferring the one I am surrendered to.

Self-righteousness or Self-Achievement hinders the Mercy of God from flowing to you. Its root is in the carnal nature and that nature is the enemy of God.
