BOND Sunday Service, originally aired November 30, 2008: Jesse Lee Peterson leads a church discussion going further over the question: Who are you? (We’ve talked about this in prior services as well.) Some feel it’s more of a question, “What are you?” One guy says he’s a black man, and that’s all. You hear James in this one, unsure what it matters. But people don’t know who they are. Later in the service, a man points out that the world assigns titles to everything, and those become your “identity.”

We also talk about online dating, and people getting on social media platforms like MySpace and Facebook. Insecure people do the online dating thing. One guy says that if he sees pretty women, he’ll talk to them. But many guys are shy and scared of women — and desperate!

Finally we discuss the issue of how you seek first the Kingdom of Heaven.

Sunday Service, originally streamed November 23, 2008: Jesse Lee Peterson reiterates a question from the prior week (which may not have been recorded). Who are you? What's the difference between "Who are you" and "What are you?" Later in the service we discuss the way men have become ret*rded — particularly men ages 50 and under. For example, Barack Obama is a weak, pathetic, poor, pitiful excuse of a man. Some women speak up in Obama's defense, saying he's a "family man." But Barack Obama supports abortion, killing the unborn child. No real man would support that. A man protects the unborn, and other innocent lives. He does not lie to women telling them that they're wonderful and victims and can kill their babies in the womb.

Were you ever told as a kid that you could one day be President of the United States? Did you ever imagine seeing a black president in your lifetime? Church members give their opinions of Obama, John McCain, and Sarah Palin. Did women dislike Palin and Hillary Clinton? Was McCain too old? Could a black conservative like Alan Keyes have won the black vote? How do black Christians justify voting for Obama given he was for same-sex marriage and pro-choice?

BOND Sunday Service, originally streamed December 12, 2008: Jesse Lee Peterson talks about speaking at George Putnam’s funeral. George Putnam was a talk show host and man of courage who loved BOND, and who was not afraid of women. Most males are angry, emotional, and insecure. Jesse mentions Barack Obama being elected to office, and people getting a false sense of identity from him. Then the congregation discusses the story of O.J. Simpson begging for mercy, when prompted by a female judge. He was almost crying. People thought it was pathetic, and that he humiliated himself.

Then we discuss spiritual things and personal life. God wants you free. But when you judge yourself for what you’ve become, it prevents you from being born again, so that you can live your purpose in life. (It’s a lie from the pit of hell that “once you’re born again, you still sin.”) We discuss the question: Do you know God loves you? How do you know God loves you? People say that they believe God loves them, but do they know it for sure? Some say they love God. How do you know you love Him?

At Church, we discussed Biblical Questions about whether a man looking at another woman is cheating, and “the cause of your effect.” People have been through some tough family situations, but once they forgive, it’ll be like they don’t have a past! Jesse told of his encounter with a security guard at the bank who could suddenly see, and started crying after Jesse told him to forgive. One lady who had her live-in boyfriend move out — she now says that he and their son don’t like her anymore! Her mother does not believe that a woman should obey her man, nor see how anger is evil. But overcome emotions, and you can deal with situations in the right way.

Jesse invites some newlyweds on-stage. A young woman does not want to forgive her mother — “she doesn’t deserve it” — nor does she want to cut off communication with her! Just block her! We also talk about how to have “pure” motives — by not having motivation!
