Do you that little kindness you showed someone today can lead to greater future blessings? Two days ago, @calebmarvel24 initiated a contest that will help to increase engagement in the Spendhbd community. And, it's all about showing a little kindness to people. You know, in the world today, kindness and love is scarce. But we can still show kindness despite our circumstances.

Before now, I don't find it difficult to show some kindness which people around me can testify. When I saw the contest, I told myself @chydolar1, you can do it. In other to carry out this kindness, I need someone to talk to about Hive and SpendHBD and how we can pay with HBD instead of Fiat. Since I already had discussions with Future model school administrator and some stuffs, I chose to go back there to show some kindness. Knowing to well that the school administrator is needed for a smooth running of our workshop, I decided to show him some little kindness.

I needed to prepare his mind, make him believe we are not telling stories or fiction but the reality. After our discussion yesterday, I told him that I will be showing him some kindness today. I asked him when he will be free so that we can visit Judel supermarket. He said 4:00pm. Unfortunately, he didn't meet up with the time but, I was patiently waiting for him because I knew he was busy with the exam students.

On getting to the Judel supermarket, he picked up a soap and guess what? He said

>I never knew it was a big standard supermarket. I thought you were telling me about this small businesses.

Exactly what I was looking for. He has finally accepted HBD in his mind and he will prepare the mind of all the staff's for our upcoming workshop. Do well to watch the video to see how he expresses his gratitude for Hive and SpendHBD.

Hello 👋@distriator team and spendhbd community members, how are you doing today? With so much excitement, am inviting you all to **Future Models School's**. It's located at **Plot B avenue** in Ifa Atai Etio Uyo. You might wonder, why this invitation? Don't worry , just grab a cup of coffee and sit tight.

Last week Friday, i went to the school to introduce Hive and SpendHBD to the school management and fortunately, I got a positive result from the [proprietor and two other staff's](https://hive.blog/hive-106130/@chydolar1/the-proprietor-of-future-model)

Today, i revisited with @angelaeffiong who accompanied me to meet with Mir Precious Felix who happened to be the head teacher or school administrator. When we got there, he was outside the school premises while the students were going home. We started exchanging greetings from a distance. When i got closer, i told him that i came to remind him our coming on Friday this week. I needed to be sure, so that i will invite fellow hivers in my city for the workshop. Immediately, he admitted that we should come on Friday by 2:30Pm. Am using this medium to invite all you to join us on Friday 15th May 2025. Time 2:30Pm. If you won't make it in person, don't worry, i give you details of the workshop or presentations on Friday.

Before i left, i told him that i have a good news for him. He quickly invited us over to his office. I told him why i love hive and spendhbd project. How it has been putting smiles on my face and that of others. I told him that he will be smiling home today from this project because i will be taking him to a listed business for shopping here in Uyo. He complain of his phone being spoiled. I told him don't worry because it's an act of kindness from me. I only want him pick whatever he wants and whatch me make the payments using HBD. My aim was to make him to become more convinced in this project because, i still see this belief if shop owners truly accept HBD. Guess what?His doubts was cleared. Will you like to know how i cleared his doubts? definitely. I will dropping the update soon. Stay tuned, i want you to see him smiling when the payment was made. At least, he has full conviction HBD can me used in exchange for good's and sevic and Hive ia a powerful ecosystem. He has something to tell his staff' before and during the workshop.

When we learn new things, we feel happy. That's why Hive workshops are very necessary because we learn new things during each training. It gives us the opportunity to ask questions and interact with fellow hivers too. A call for Action weekly contest is new to almost all the hivers in my city. So, while we are shopping using HBD, it's also necessary for the Hive Ecosystem to be known other social media handles. on the video, i explained how we can that, why it's necessary for one to do so and the rewards of sharing Hive related videos on X and other social media platforms.

Today in the city of Uyo, over 10 persons attended our training and workshop. I was happy to see my invites during the cost of the meeting. Among the was a newbie @nemzy whom i onboarded on Hive just two weeks ago, @angelaeffiong, @ogechukwu-martha, etc. These new friends came to learn more about Hive and Spendhbd project. In today's training, important points where made to stand out. Firstly, was introduction of Hive. They newbies where made to understand what Hive is all about. Which is a web3 and decentralized social media platform where original content creators earn from their efforts. Not just that, but where one can learn new things everyday.

Next was what is spendhbd? On this section, the new and Old hivers was made to understand that it's a Hive blockchain project that comes with a cash back when one makes payments using HBD or light BTC. Secondly, all in attendance was warned not to scam the platform by avoiding any illegal transactions in any of the listed businesses as that will be damaging for us. Because Many businesses has been closed or shot down in Nigeria due to this illegal act. Questions came up during the training and, one of the questions was, what's HBD? An interest one right? Yeah! HBD as we all know is Hive backed dollar while Hive is the native token of hive blochain. So, those who asked the questions gat to know the answers to their question. Next was, how can we have the HBD in our wallet. **Answer**: By converting our local currency to HBD. That's to say, instead of buying with Naira which happens to be our local currency, we can buy HBD using Naira and once we get to the listed shops, we can comfortably pay with HBD and claim our discount.

Another person asked, is it possible to convert Hbd to Naira? And the answer was yes. Just as we convert Naira to HBD, same way, we can convert HBD to Naira. That's what makes up the training, question and answers. After taking pictures, we all moved to Judel supermarket for the newbies to practice shopping. This section helped them to see that payments can be made using HBD and the cash back is real. @nemzy was assisted with HBD from one of us and i assisted her in making her payments and claiming her discount after payments.

While in the supermarket, many people where busy buying things too. It's weekend and the supermarket was busy with customers. So, i made a short videos of friends picking up things from the shelves. Please watch the video from 3spek. At the end of the day, we all left with satisfaction that comes from shopping with HBD. Guess what the satisfaction is all about!! Joy.
