On Sunday, April 13, 2025, a Celebration of Life at Genetti's in Wilkes-Barre, PA honors the life of Bill Kelly. The Event features former band members from The Buoys, Northeast Pennsylvania entertainers, and an appearance by Hall of Famer, Danny Seraphine, long-time drummer for the legendary band Chicago.

I'm proud to call Bill Kelly a friend. Bill has been a frequent guest on "Ciliberto & Friends". Most recently with bandmate Jennifer Kane from "Kane & Kelly". I had the pleasure of spending time with Bill in Nashville. I was honored that Bill agreed to perform at Record Label showcases I emceed while in Nashville. When asked for a quote in preparation for the Celebration of Life I said...“Some are talented, some are humble, some are spiritual…Bill Kelly was all three.”

Here's an interview from 2012. Bill and Jerry Hludzik were on their way back to Northeast PA for the first Radio Bold Music Festival at Mohegan Sun Pocon Downs. This conversation covers it all.

Ladies and Gentlemen...My Friend, From "The Buoys", "Jerry Kelly Band", "Dakota" and "Kane & Kelly"...BILL KELLY!
