Cindy Palin Music & Words

Biblical Content

What is the backstory to my new Christmas song?

Why did I entitle it My Christmas Waltz?

Where does our indifference towards one another come from and how does Christmas address it?

Just as Jesus came low to a manger to be near, how do we continue to press into God's presence today?

How many parallels can you find in the song that pertain to God's redemption plan?

Just a few questions you will have answered by tuning into this episode of Cindy Palin Music & Words.

Scripture covered: John 3:16, Phil. 2:7, Luke 22:42

Keep watch for the sheet music in the days to come.

Merry Christmas every heart!

Cindy Palin

Real experiences that inspired this song, and pause to ponder those who are facing struggles this year at Christmas time.

A great big thank you to Craig Learmont for his production on the album, and piano interpretation.

Melody following writing strategy, and an invitation for you to write a Christmas song.

Many thanks to organizations like the Mustard Seed, serving the community all year-'round.

As we celebrate the Christmas Story let us remember the baby Jesus and his struggles and sacrifice.

Let us find hope in knowing we are not alone.

God is near.

Everyone wants change in some way or another, and there are plenty of workshops and programs that facilitate change.

Where do we look for inner change that is long-lasting, even eternal?

"Changed Forever" visits several important characters in the Christmas Story,

and how God's loving presence approaches them, and how they respond.

There is a suggested writing exercise included in this episode.

Three stanzas are compared. Rhyme, syllables, melody writing, intervals, vowels, shaping, score, lyricist, composer, and bridge elements are discussed.

Cindy suggests you have the lyrics open during the discussion to have a visual understanding as well, but not if you're driving:)
