Hola a todos, les damos la bienvenida a un nuevo episodio de cinefotolatino. En esta ocasión, hablamos con el director de fotografía peruano Fergan Chávez Ferrer quien recientemente se ha vuelto miembro de la AMC , la Sociedad Mexicana de Autores de Fotografía Cinematográfica.
El trabajo de Fergan le ha llevado a participar en proyectos aclamadas por la crítica, experimentando con géneros desde el terror y comedia. Su películas se ha proyectado en festivales de cine de talla mundial, incluidos Cannes, Locarno, entre otros.
En este episodio , el director de fotografía nos comenta sus inicios en la industria, desde sus primeros proyectos en Perú y el inicio de su amor por el cine y su paso por la publicidad ; además nos comparte detalles de algunos de sus proyectos más recientes: "Detrás de la montaña", "Octubre" y "Tiempos modernos".

Les damos la bienvenida a un nuevo episodio de cinefotolatino. En esta ocasión, hablamos con el director de fotografía colombiano Paulo Pérez ADFC para compartirnos su pasión por la dirección de fotografía. Desde sus inicios en documentales y los últimos trabajos en ficción que ha realizado, Paulo busca siempre historias con fuerza e impacto.
Paulo es miembro de la ADFC, Asociación de Directores de Fotografía Cinematográfica de Colombia. En ficción ha realizado películas como “El rey” de Antonio Dorado ( en 2004) y “amores peligrosos” (2013). “Los viajes del viento” de Ciro Guerra , le hizo merecedor del premio macondo en 2010 gracias a su trabajo en la fotografía. Además de este premio, Paulo consiguió el premio a mejor fotografía del salón internacional de la luz en 2012 por “Chocó”, de Jhonny Hendrix Hinestroza.
En esta ocasión hablamos con Paulo de estos dos proyectos importantes en su carrera. Tambien hablamos un poco de “Frontera verde”

El objetivo de apertura es dar a conocer el trabajo de mujeres talentosas, tanto mexicanas como extranjeras, cuya carrera se desarrolla en México. Hemos decidido mostrarles un panorama amplio de directoras de fotografía que puedan hablar de su trabajo en cine, comercial, documental, publicidad, fotografía submarina y series. Lo que queremos es inspirar a la próxima generación de mujeres cineastas para que vean que no solo hay un camino, ni una edad; solo se necesita pasión.
En este segundo programa hablaremos con las directoras de fotografía Leslie Montero, Rosa Hadit y María Sarasvati Herrera sobre sus proyectos más recientes.

César Gutiérrez Miranda es egresado de la carrera de cine del Escuela Nacional de Artes Cinematográfico de la UNAM , en dónde se especializó en Guión, Realización y Fotografía.
El director de fotografía, miembro de la AMC ha obtenido múltiples reconocimientos a lo largo de su carrera, entre los que destaca una DIOSA DE PLATA a Mejor Fotografía por la película ESPIRAL, dos Premios Mezcal a Mejor Fotografía en el FICGuadalajara por las películas LA NEGRADA y YO NECESITO AMOR y dos nominaciones a los PREMIOS ARIEL por su trabajo en WORKERS y LA TIRISIA.

Nacido en Chile, Manuel Alberto Claro lleva viviendo en Dinamarca desde los 3 años. Su primera experiencia en el cine fue "Reconstrucción de un amor" (2003). Con este largometraje, que ganó la Cámara de Oro en Cannes 2003, se le abrieron las puertas a muchas nuevas producciones tanto de cine como en publicidad y también en videos musicales. Además, sus películas “Dark Horse”, de Dagur Kári y Allegro (también de Boe), fueron premiadas en Cannes y Venecia respectivamente.
Manuel Claro ha sido nominado dos veces a los Premios Amanda, premio otorgado anualmente por el Instituto Noruego de Cine, logrando conseguir uno de estos premios por su trabajo en Limbo. Además estuvo nominado al Golden Frog en Camerimage gracias a su trabajo en “Melancolía”.
En esta ocasión hablamos con el director de fotografía sobre algunos de sus proyectos más representativos: Melancolía y La casa de Jack (de Lars Von Trier) y su trabajo con el mexicano Amat Escalante en “La región salvaje”

En este episodio el director de fotografía colombiano Mauricio Vidal ADFC comparte su experiencia detrás de algunos de sus proyectos más recientes.
Su filmografía incluye mas de 30 Largometrajes y Series entre los que se destacan CONTRACORRIENTE (Ganadora del Premio del Público en Sundance y Selección Special Screenings del CAMERIMAGE 2010), SATANAS y EL ELEFANTE DESAPARECIDO (Selección Oficial en Toronto 2014).
Su trabajo lo ha llevado a fotografiar diferentes documentales como MONTE ADENTRO (Ganadora de la Mención Especial a Documental en el CAMERIMAGE 2014) y APAPORIS (Selección IDA DOCUWEEKS 2011 y Premio Macondo a MEJOR FOTOGRAFÍA 2012). Ha dictado talleres en la Escuela Internacional de Cine (Cuba) y en varias Universidades en Colombia y Perú.
Mauricio siempre ha considerado su trabajo de Director de Fotografía, como una extraordinaria mezcla entre ser un narrador, un artista, un gerente y un artesano de la luz y la cámara.
