Furthermore, the talk examines the influence of language on the creation of places and the built environment, considering how language structures our perception of the material world. The work also explores McLuhan’s theory of hot and cold media, as well as the ideas of Bergson and Merleau-Ponty on the body, movement, and memory in relation to cinema and architecture.

Finally, the analysis considers the notion of the cinematic image as a space we inhabit, or whether architecture is a world we observe through screens.
