  • S2E18: Nerdwatching
Travis, Brew Boss Shawn and Joey Poole get together on Nerd Pride Day and celebrate their geekiness by talking about a few movies for the intellectually inclined.  First up is Real Genius (1985), a comedy where engineering students are tasked with developing a sinister weapon, a story that Joey Poole retrofits for our modern times.  After the break, it's Lucas (1986), a movie about high school love which was the film debut of Winona Rider.  The guys get real relating the often mysogynistic nerd culture developed in films like this from the 80s with some of the social issues we face today. To cap it off, we honor the original, archtypical nerd in this week's Honey Roast.
