Cinema Cult

Welcome back from the hiatus fellow listeners. It's been a wild few months but we welcome back our listeners with a brand new take on the epic new release of Gladiator 2 this weekend!!!

On this bi-weekly episode listen as I discuss the real and emotional depths that go into my love for film and wanting to share it with others!

Welcome back Jackson with this week's personal pick - OUTLAST. One of Jackson and I's favorite survival horror games with a very cinematic feel. The perfect aesthetic for Halloween or anything spooky related, this game holds a dear place in our hearts....and minds!!!

Come on an emotional journey with this week's pick, a game - Firewatch (2016). This game hit me hard and it's one that needs to be experienced more, go ahead and experience it for yourself or listen to the breakdown but either way, give it it's flowers!!!

The first solo host episode of the podcast, but first of many!!! I hope I can make new fans of these hidden gem picks offered in today's ep! If you have any you want to add or suggest, comment accordingly, otherwise I'll see you on the next ep of the pod! Have a good one people!!!

Part 2 out of 2 with game night, and this time it's Truth or Drink on Cinema Cult!!! Watch the hosts go on tangents and spill the beans (thankfully not their lunch) on salacious and introspective cards. Listen now and laugh along with our stupidity and lack of self awareness in this episode of Cinema Cult!!!

Part 1 of 2, in which my co-host Jackson and I partake in film trivia with a healthy side of cocktails. Play or listen along as we deep dive into film nerd central and get a little wacky while doing so!

This episode is a bit of a departure as we are not covering a film, but instead some Dark and Controversial Media we consumed as small kids and how that effected as well as influenced our lives later on. We dive deep and cover a lot of ground so get ready for a rollercoaster of emotion, laughs, as well as some serious critiques of some "interesting" children's media.

Tonight's episode is "Naked Fear" released in 2007 and is YET ANOTHER DISTURBING FLICK by loveable returning co-host Sara!!! Listen to the breakdown of this "inspired by true events" movie as well as all the despicable parts now!!!

CONTENT WARNING: This is a doozy of a film but a very important one that needs to be remembered. Even through the comic relief of the hosts, this film will stick with us as a horrible miscarriage of justice and preventable domestic violence that needs to be talked about more. Listen to what we have to say now on Spotify and Apple Podcasts, and thank you for listening to Cinema Cult, where every film is a cult classic.
