Cinema Gush

Today we are joined by John Riley: Montana journalist and close friend. He is here to talk to us about the 1984 movie, Gremlins!

This is a one-of-a-kind movie. There are plenty of imitators but nobody captures the weird creature/horror/comedy vibe of the original. It's a delight. So lets gush!

Today we are joined by Nic's writing mentor Chris Easterly to talk about our first Academy Award winner: Rain Man. What a great movie. So sit back, relax, and lets gush!

And after the show, be sure to check out Chris's upcoming movie Devil's Hollow: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4799516/?ref_=nm_flmg_wr_2

P.S. Sorry about the audio problems! We'll get em fixed!

Today we are joined by Kyle Peterson who is talking about one of his favorite movies, Hook. Directed by Steven Spielberg and staring Robin Williams. I tell you, this here is a gusher if we ever had one. So much goodness to discuss. It's our longest episode and--dare I say--our best yet?

So come chill out with us and lets talk--nay, GUSH--about some movies!

We got us a very special episode here today. Joining us on the podcast is our dear friend Bill Tullius. Bill holds a PhD in philosophy and is a part time lecturer in the philosophy department at American Public University and he is applying all his brilliance and knowledge to discuss a gem of a Disney movie: Moana.

It's a great conversation. Like it and share it with everyone so that we can bribe and cajole him into coming back to discuss more Disney flicks! I'm looking at you Coco!

Exciting times! 2020 is almost over!

Why not celebrate with Cinema Gush? Today we are joined by Kyle Murphy. A long time friend with exceptional taste, Kyle is here to talk about the 1989 movie UHF. Remember UHF? Of course you do! It's that Weird Al movie and it is every bit as strange and wonderful as you could hope.

Seriously, this one is wild!

And when your done, be sure to check out Kyle's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQNsOOGxOOtMyomufdOiATA

It's Christmas! And we have a teensy present of an episode for you today. Instead of our usual format, we are discussing some of the big movie news items of the day. We talk about the news that Warner Bro's will be streaming all of it's 2021 flicks on HBO Max, we talk Spiderman casting, touch on some Star Wars (when don't we?), and some other tid-bits. Enjoy!

It's episode 2! Today it's Brendon's turn to drive this train. And that train's name? Snowpiercer. That little train flick directed by Bong Joon Ho. Brendon fell in love with this one while running the projectors at the Myrna Loy Theater in Helena Montana. He watched it again and again and again. His love for it is deep though he does acknowledge that at this point there may be a smidge of Stockholm syndrome. No matter, the love is reel (Ho ho! See what I did there?) and it's time to gush.

The wait is over. It's finally here. At last you can listen to two random guys whom you know from the office Gush about CINEMA.

Our inaugural episode (not counting our Holiday ditty) takes us through one of Nic Lishko's favorite movies: Muppet Treasure Island. Brendon hadn't seen this movie since college (when Nic showed it to him for the first time). Lets explore it...together! It's CINEMA GUSH.

Welcome to Cinema Gush! A podcast where two guys hang out and talk about movies that they love! Bonus points if no-one else does!

This is a quick preview episode to wet your whistles. We are talking about some of our favorite holiday movies. Because, ya know...it's the holidays. So this Thanksgiving, sit back with your family safely distanced through zoom and together listen to two random dudes gush. Gush about movies. It's CINEMA GUSH!

Mmmm...dramatic.
