In this episode we take a look at 2008 horror comedy film, Psycho Sleepover! This movie is proof that all you really need is a house and the contents of a Halloween costume store after the holiday to make a film.  It’s kind of like a Mad Libs script meets a first year college improv comedy troupe with a bunch of fake blood.  Also, boner jokes.

It’s September, and we’ve declared it Troma Month!  First up is the extremely perplexing, comedy-musical-noir-exploitation-put your genre here film, Superstarlet A.D.  We watched it and we’re still not sure what the hell happened or why it happened or what is life.  Megan talks about burlesque because that’s what she does, but it’s actually the only part of the entire thing that makes sense.

In this episode, we take a look at the 1984 horror/comedy? movie, Blood Theatre! This one is a total stinker and super perplexing.  Why does this movie exist?  Who thought it was a good idea to ADR all the lines of one character? What’s the difference between someone that just makes really bad movies and an auteur with a specific vision that turns out really bad movies?  We attempt to answer these questions, which is more than Blood Theatre does.

In this episode, we take a look at the 1970 Joe Namath biker movie, C.C. & Company! Joe is the most reasonable biker you’ll ever meet in a sea of scenery chewing biker gang maniacs.  Also, Ann-Margret and Wayne Cochran jiggle and sing as necessary.  Goon and outfit descriptions galore!

In this episode, we take a look at the 1980 sci fi time travel movie, The Final Countdown!  The film asks a lot of interesting questions, but unfortunately, it doesn’t really ever get around to answering them very well.  It is full of high quality actors and equally high quality footage of actual stuff happening on an aircraft carrier, so if that’s your thing, you might like this one.

In this episode we take a look at John Carpenter’s duo of escape movies, Escape from New York and Escape from LA!  In truth, they’re kind of the same movie, but one of them is a lot campier than the other. Eric can’t remember Tom Adkins name, even though we love him so much.

In this episode, we take a look at the very weird, very greasy 2016 indie film, The Greasy Strangler!  If John Waters and David Lynch donated their DNA to science and somebody slapped it together and dunked it in a vat of tapioca pudding, this is probably what you get.  So many fake penises too…

In this episode, we take a look at the 1971 Mill Creek fodder, the Devil Has Seven Faces!  Megan thinks a better title for this would be The Devil Has Seven Wigs.  Also, Eric completely missed out on what happened in the movie, even though he watched the whole thing, including the fact that it stars the same guy as the star of his favorite childhood movie, Fantastic Voyage.

In this episode, we take a look at the 1970 documentary and concert film, Woodstock!  Eric gives us a full tour of the groups that were featured and the history of the concert in general; we also take a look at the slice of life bits that appear throughout the film.  Remember kids – stay away from the brown acid.

In this episode, we delve once more into the Bag of Destiny and wind up in the shitty version of the Marvel Universe (you know, the one with the mutants) with X-Men Origins: Wolverine!  The most interesting part of this movie is probably all the unfinished bits that we got to see because it was a rough edit copy that had been bootlegged.  Also, Megan rants a lot about nerd things that she is definitely not an expert on.
