THE PLATFORM;
is a Spanish science fiction horror-thriller film, directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia and released in 2019.[1] The film is set in a large, tower-style "Vertical Self-Management Center". Its residents, who are periodically switched at random between its many floors, are fed via a platform which, initially filled with food at the top floor, gradually descends through the tower's levels, each level getting only the leftovers from the previous ones. It is a system bound to cause conflict, as the residents at the top levels can eat as much as they can, leaving increasingly little for those below.

Duncan Vizla, aka "the Black Kaiser", is an assassin, working for a company named Damocles. In 14 days, upon reaching mandatory retirement on his 50th birthday, Vizla is set to receive half his pension, amounting to $8 million.
Mr. Blut, Damocles’ owner, intends to sell Damocles and is having all assassins approaching retirement killed by other Damocles operators, thus retaining their pension funds and inflating the company's value. Additionally, a Damocles contract clause stipulates that, should employees die without a will or named beneficiary, the company assumes all their assets. Vizla is the latest operative to be hunted down.
