In episode 169. Tony & Eddie sit down to talk through what could be a watershed moment for the show. Although they've dabbled in some campy films in the past - nothing before this holds a candle to this week's film, VelociPastor. This film is terrible, the budget was 35K, it will be tough for some to get through it - but it's also brilliant, hilarious and some of the actors and actresses here are beyond dedicated to this world. It's a marvel and a mess. If you like campy films, this will likely already be on your radar. If you like campy films and you haven't seen this - the boys would be willing to bet that it'll climb to the top of your chart of favorites.

In episode 166, Tony and Eddie talk about the saga-ending epic, Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. With such a divisive audience, this one is sure to stir some emotions. The boys talk nostalgia, nerd rage, cancel culture, and the fact that the world just needs to calm down a bit. In episode 164, Tony & Eddie gather around to speak about X-men: Dark Phoenix. At this point in the Fox/Marvel franchise there's some very entrenched opinions. Both good and bad. There's some huge fans and some folks who really can't stand these depictions of some of the world's favorite mutant characters. In episode 163, Tony & Eddie review the critically acclaimed mystery, or should we say 'twistery' film Knives Out (2019). This movie is brimming with beautiful things to look, from it's mega-cast members to the ridiculously attractive old home that is it's setting, you won't find a single shot that isn't alluring. This film let's you see into the lives of some very crooked very rich Americans as a death in the family causes much drama to ensue. The whodunit genre is turned on it's head in some new ways here too - adding a lot of fun to the flick. This very highly rated film lives up to the hype that surrounded it. That's for sure.

Along with the film, the boys tried two news beers of course. Both from breweries never before featured on the show. Tony had a Grey Sail Brewing IPA. In episode 162, Tony & Eddie sit down (virtually speaking) to discuss the last of the Matrix films, Matrix Revolutions. This revisit to the classic and record-breaking sci-fi classic has been bittersweet on some levels. There's a lot here. Some good. Some bad. Some great and some awful. In Episode 160, Tony & Eddie continue their throwback into the high-action, slow-motion world of The Matrix with The Matrix Reloaded. The second installment in the iconic serious brings more leather, more elaborate action sequences and a guy who makes keys. The boys are trying to get excited for the eventual release of The Matrix 4, but just like last week, there's an open question - how are these movies aging?
