Welcome back to Cinemavino! We’ve all been vaccinated, so this episode represents a celebration of of our own little herd immunity. For this special occasion, the boys discuss Zack Snyder’s Justice League and booze on a little Dry Creek Red Zin.

It’s another Cinemavino on the patio. For this episode, we drink some Gewurtztraminer rosé and discuss the first episode of Marvel’s latest TV venture, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. As always, we use some cuss-language. Listener discretion is definitely advised! *Spoilers abound!*

For this week’s Cinemavino, we veer away from horror movies to check out a 90’s cult classic:  Robert Redford’s hacker extravaganza Sneakers.  It appeared at the dawn of Al Gore’s Internet, and it contains some oddly prescient observations about how much power will lie with information in this new era.

I couldn’t help but think about the current election debacle, and our country has been ripped apart by not only information, but all the disinformation around it.  

Sneakers occasionally falls flat with some cornball humor and Ben Kingsley’s wandering American accent.  But it’s mostly a fun little movie.  And again, some its predictions are downright eerie.  

A few small small spoilers lie within.  And our podcast is NSFW.  Listener discretion is advised.
