Cinemocracy restored! This time I watched the 2003 South Korean thriller Oldboy, directed by Park Chan-wook.

But for this episode I watched whatever the fuck I wanted and you have to deal with it. This time the movie was 1971's The French Connection directed by William Friedkin.

But this time I watched a movie related to a movie I already watched as part of what I'm calling Representative Cinemocracy, where I continue watching the filmography of the same director, or in the same series of movies, or something that has a connection along those lines to a previously voted-on movie. For this episode I watched The Great Adventure of Horus, Prince of the Sun, an early Japanese anime film from 1968 directed by Isao Takahata and with animation from Hayao Miyazaki both of future Studio Ghibli fame.
