Cira Auto Review

S01E10 For this 10th episode, we adventured to the Black Hills of South Dakota to put a Chevrolet Colorado through its paces.   With the off-road themed podcast, we discussed what off-roading really is and what you need for varying degrees of rough road. Join us for some fun!

This podcast is dedicated to my great great great aunt and uncle, Fanny Hoyt and Valentine McGillycuddy who played their own roles in shaping the great western US.  Dr. Mcgillycuddy was also with Crazy Horse when he passed away in 1877.

We can blame the intern, but a new episode is here!  Episode 9, well, let's call it the opinion episode! Join us for some ums, silence and few words thrown in:

1. Why is buying a new car so hard?  Average car price today is roughly $34k and cars don't feel as solid as they used to.  What to do?  We'll discuss a few options.

2. The Jeep WJ project is underway.  After a recent visit to the mechanic, our new transfer case was insinuated to be bad.  Turns out, it was something else.  Tune in for the latest.

3. We take a look at the Cira Auto Review inbox!  What sort of news are car makers sharing recently?

S01E08 - Ruh-woh! We accidentally published another horrible episode with plenty of ums, silence, and a few words thrown in.

In episode 8, we discuss the difference between durability and reliability, take the luscious Mazda CX-9 for a drive, and then Aric shares an ode to the great American road trip to commemorate Labor Day Weekend!   Enjoy!

Welcome to our 7th episode!!

This week we have a special treat, in addition to our Review of the Honda HR-V subcompact crossover!

1.  We unbox a mystery package from Adam's Polishes and the auto detailer in us is ecstatic!  There are ways to clean cars we never knew possible!

2. The Honda HR-V seems like a great package overall, but the experience behind the wheel leaves us wondering if the HR-V design is a leftover from the bean counter design days.  Tragedy.

3. In Car News, we discuss Elon Musk's suggestion he will take Tesla private.

Join us for this and the usual Where's Brad segment and the Question of the Week!

S01E06 - We made it to episode 6!  We have no idea if anyone likes it, but here we go.  On this stunning episode we rant about infotainment systems, drive the Buick Regal TourX "crossover" alternative, answer Question of the Episode, and discuss the 2019 model changes for the Honda HR-V and Audi Q3.  Phew, we made it.  ciraauto.com

S01E05 - Join us for our 5th oddball podcast as we share news about the Jeep WJ restoration project, drive the phenomenal 2019 Subaru Ascent three row crossover, and introduce the Question of the Episode (QotE)!!!

S01E04 - Join us for our fourth podcast as we wrap the Crossover War segment, discuss Mazda as the new BMW, share some facts on Tesla, and introduce the new Porsche Taycan. We like our podcasts, rough and oddball.

S01E03 - We are back for another zany episode of oddball car reviews as we continue our discussion of Crossover Wars.  Aric and Brad are back with three more crossovers in the hot segment, the Nissan Murano, Mazda CX-5, and Subaru Forester XT.  All three are great cars, but which makes for a great road trip crossover as opposed to a daily driver?  What is the Subaru magic for car sales? Find out and more in this episode.

S01E02 - Join us as Aric and Brad dive into the crossover market and discuss some of the top models in the segment.  Sedans are out and crossovers are in.  Models like the Volkswagen Tiguan, Toyota RAV4, and Honda CR-V offer distinct entries in the segment.  Which one is right for you?  Join us for this multi-part series, a few laughs and ear catching one liners.

S01E01 - In this inaugural podcast, Aric of Cira Auto asks the question, what is up with Subaru?  After test driving a 2018 Forester XT and Crosstrek, we had some perspectives to ponder and was left bewildered.  Listen in...
