Thomas’ final sermon focuses on the nature of what it means to love God with all your heart, soul, and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself.

In our concluding ‘Love is…’ sermon we wrap up all the words we’ve talked about with “Christlike.” How can we build on how love is active, present, kind, vulnerable, & radical? What does it mean to us as Christians, a congregation, and to the world?

Jesus was seen as a radical by His contemporaries, and indeed if modern day followers truly follow His teachings to their fullest, we would be too. Is this a bad thing? Not really, when you consider what ‘radical’ really means, and consider what not being radical would also mean.

Vulnerability is somewhat of a buzz word these days, which lead some to write it off as a fad or something which will change. But, Jesus shows us incredible vulnerability, which then shows us we need to be vulnerable too. What is vulnerability and how do we show it in a Christlike way?
