About Talk: We are not who other people say about us. We aren’t even who we say we are. We are who God says we are. We are not our projections, our reactions, or emotional patterns we inherit from our parents. We are children of God. But we aren’t all the same either, most of the “bad” has a flip-side that God wants to use for good. Donna used the example of her anger, which can be used to hurt others or to champion for others, to harm or defend. Becoming our true selves in Christ is a group project that is mostly about loving ourselves and each other well. Romans 12:4-10 makes this clear from a Christian perspective.
