I wholeheartedly believe every woman should have access to the wisdom expressed and shared in this episode.
Jema is a Menstrual Cycle expert, qualified Natural Fertility Educator, Ayurvedic Coach and the creator of Wellsome. Over the past decade, she’s helped guide women in over 30 countries to embrace their monthly cycles and deepen body awareness through personalized coaching, online courses, retreats & workshops.
I had the privilege of experiencing the power of Jem’s work (and by extension, Jane Hardwicke Colling’s work, Jem’s teacher) firsthand in 2023 when I invited Jem to Guest Teach in my annual online mentorship program Heal Her, and on Retreat with us.
If you were to ask my students what they took away from Jem’s presence and the wisdom and knowledge she bestowed upon them, they’d tell you that their relationship to their menstrual cycle, body, menopause, and cyclical nature was redefined, transformed, and re-empowered.
Turns out, there is a deep well of ancient wisdom that lives within each of us waiting to be remembered, tapped into, and in Jem’s words ‘awakened’.
This episode will take you on a journey into the teachings, wisdom, and insights that I sense many of us (if not all of us) wish we had many years ago.
I hope you’re able to begin using what you learn right away both as an individual and perhaps as a parent too.
Enjoy x

“Like you, I have a cycle story and it’s far been smooth sailing. This journey began when my first period arriving at the age of 15.5, the day before swimming carnival. Not long after this I started the hormonal contraceptive pill and the 12 menstrual years following this are a complete blur. It wasn’t until I came off this very hormonal contraception that I had an awakening. A cyclical awakening.'“

Hello, beloved community.
I’m really excited for this one.
It’s our very first exclusive (paid) episode for our community and it is a lifetime’s worth of hard lessons rolled into one clean teaching. I can’t wait to hear from you about what lands.
(Free subscribers you can enjoy a 5-minute preview or consider going paid to dive deeper x)
Last week I opened a conversation on my Instagram stories about an alignment call I had with a client for a one-on-one Retreat.
My client said yes to moving forward and curating a sacred space for both her vision and what’s inside.
Despite alignment being more than present, I could sense and feel that her yes would create financial stress and overwhelm.
So I asked her ‘Does your yes create more stress and overwhelm in your body or less?’
She said more.
She then proceeded to ask me a really beautiful question.
‘How did you know?’
This attunement is a teaching that (I believe) only experience, devotion, and great humility can produce. And it’s all inside this episode for you.
In reflecting back to my client what I sensed, we were able to expose a pattern of stress and overwhelm that would continue to play out otherwise.
This stress and overwhelm would also be the thing that took her high or low and therefore out of her center, disrupting her capacity to be clear.
Being in our center is the foundation of attunement and clarity.
Notice how I didn’t say ‘being regulated and grounded all the time’, which is also another way we take ourselves high or away from our center.
What I share in this episode speaks to the trust I carry into my work and the powerful process that unfolds as a result of not needing anything to happen (no agenda) - which I sense will support those of you who hold deeply.
I expect it will resonate most with those who are interested in deepening and expanding their capacity to be with Self and others, with greater trust (in all things).
This episode is also a deepening of Ep.2 Heart Leadership with Tracey Spencer
Many times I’ve needed a ‘yes’ to feel safe in my vision, and oftentimes this yes came at the expense of the one giving it.
Many times my lack of discernment distorted my channel and capacity to participate wholeheartedly in my soul’s work.
These are some of the most important lessons I’ve learned over the years that have brought me into greater alignment with my medicine and the way I choose to wield and dispense it.
I hope it deeply serves.

About Your Teacher: Ellen Travassaros
G’day, I’m Ellen (El for short).
I live on Awabakal Country, also known as Newcastle, located in the Southern Hemisphere in NSW Australia.
I’ve spent the past decade in service to my inner embodied healing work and facilitating endless initiations and cycles of death and rebirth with sisters, clients, and communities alike.
I think and feel deeply and carry perspectives that have been layered in through both deep and rich, yet truly gnarly, alchemical, and sacred experiences.
One thing that has always held me dearly throughout my journey, is the medicine of my teachers, story, and experiences shared uninhibited by walls. I find a sense of belonging, freedom, and deep strength in the willingness of another to bring their truth and heart center stage.
The purpose of my work is to facilitate the transformation a person is ready to move through, or already moving through.
And by extension, help my community and the greater collective metabolize and mediate the complexity and paradoxical nature of the human and healing experience.
I’m excited to build a home here for those of us who resonate with the understanding that human beings are innately equipped to facilitate their deepest healing and transformation.
It’s an honor to have you here in any capacity.

Friends,
Pop your headphones in and take a deep breath. This episode will have your heart beating in all the good ways.
There’s no ‘work’ to do or lessons to learn here.
Just a powerful conversation between two women who riff passionately and off-the-cuff about their 2023 experience as heart-led business owners, teachers, and intuitive beings.
You might find this episode especially resonant for this particular moment in time, as we ride the cosmic wave into a new and expansive year (2024).
If you consider yourself a human being with beautiful (and needed) gifts to bestow on the world, or you run a heart-led business (or you’re thinking about starting one), this is especially for you.
{BONUS}For those wanting to go deeper following this episode, an exclusive 30-minute teaching on clearing your channel, and deepening trust and capacity, will be available to you shortly. Note - this teaching is exclusively for my paid subscribers. If you resonate with my work and you’re here to deepen and expand both you’re healing and holding capacity, I’d be honored to have you join us.

About Our Guest: Tracey Spencer
Trace is a mentor for the Lightworkers who are here to teach, speak, create, lead + serve in BIG ways…'
Trace is the kind of woman you want in your corner if you are passionate about authentically bringing through that which is alive in you, out into the world.
Your gifts and their expression will not be compromised with her in your field but instead, celebrated, deepened, and encouraged (and will become the ‘strategy’).
My favorite gift of Trace’s is her ability to lift you out of the fog and plant you firmly in your soul, rooted in the truth of who you are and what you’re here to do.
It takes baffling amounts of courage to strike a match in a dark place and give those who need some light, a way home. Trace is the epitome of this.
You can find her on Instagram @tracey_spencer or take a peek (or hearty plunge) into her online world here.
Be sure to let us both know what connected with you in this episode in the comments below.

Episode 1 is an off-the-cuff chat that illustrates opening to the moment and responding from the heart, in real-time, and in relation to another. I don’t know about you, but that is true medicine to me.
Roxy is a dear friend of mine with whom I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing soul-level friendship.
In this episode, we have the privilege of hearing Roxy’s story which opens numerous threads I know many of you will resonate with on a heart level including;
* Thought Looping & getting stuck in patterns
* Limiting love & how this limits us in other areas of life
* Moving from numbness to letting life in fully
* Titrating happiness and honouring the cycles of feeling lost
* Right relationship with nature & a frequency to tap into always
* Trusting the process versus being positive
* Right relationship with our words
This is one of those really beautiful conversations where you get to be a fly on the wall and soak in the medicine of resonance and relatability.
You will not be told what to do or coached but instead, reminded that you are your greatest resource.
This is a different kind of conversation. I hope it lands and serves you deeply.
You can also find me here to share the love.
