I was working on the episode and I just... couldn't get a sentence together. My editor suggested I take a break so I will. I also will come back. I love this.

So my apologies on either weird sounds or thoughts not completely tracking. My editor really liked this more vibe based analysis, but next time should be one with more support. I just saw Batman Returns for the first time last year. A theater put it on as a Christmas movie. I admit it didn't QUITE land for me, but it was enjoyable.

Since the time of recording and the time of posting, Poe managed to jump into my second Which just... thank you Alan Wake crew. I hope you come back to see how much Alan Wake I can cram into this over all. But yes, Public Domain Day has returned! I love it, I love seeing what else we can get, and I can't wait until more comes. In the mean time, enjoy early Tin Tin and go check out Project Gutenberg. Hello everyone! Something a bit fun before we go into Holidays. Next episode is the Public Domain Day episode! Unfortunately most of the early info is not online. I did end up emailing the LA Public Library Archives for information and may update the sources if I get info. Speaking of: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qTyY4pmMmskTsPT4tTagp3vt_Vqb-88Is00o4b-7Msc/edit?usp=sharing So, one full year finished. Thank you for sticking with me. I've enjoyed my work here.

This was a lot of fun to dig into, especially as a lot of it was stuffy I had vaguely heard only as "legal troubles" But as I had never really watched James Bond I kind of forgot. A lot of this research comes from a book called "Battle for Bond" that... I genuinely could not find. It was incredibly out of print, the nearest library that had it was over 500 miles away, I couldn't find it on Archive.org nothing. There was some other legal trouble in that, but it was not as relevant to this script. Also, speaking of Blue Sky, yeah my outtro is out of date due to... everything. I'll update it in the new year and the 2025 Public Domain Day episode.

The ESRB creation and it's after effects is interesting and it's absolutely fascinating to compare it to the Movies Ratings Board. I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!

Thank you everyone. Sources will be put up soon, but for any human who listens to this podcast, thank you. You mean so much to me.

Happy Halloween everyone! Enjoy this Spooky Episode before you go off and watch Scream! Also, we are nearing our 1 year anniversary! If you haven't left a review before, now would be a good time. I've only seen Scream1 but it was a really good movie. https://docs.google.com/document/d/19OZfW-VwM-7Psip6qQJOAX9W79dWZoQxJaZ4SWoNqOU/edit?usp=sharing

I AM BACK! Sorry for the delay. Today we are talking about the Evil Dead and I had a good time researching it. For some reason my recording sounded a bit fast but well, I think it's fine. If not, reminders we do have transcripts along with sources. So, may as well put my rankings here. 1 and Rise are tied. Then Army of Darkness, then 2 (mostly tied) then 2013 at the bottom. I'm glad to get the siblings back, but they kills were gritty without any humor or fun. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bpB8OAjqsz9-hdXinTk1ziFXxQqCcRkJgFWCnceNBsc/edit?usp=sharing

I had THREE different ideas fall through. So sorry if this feels a smidge rushed. But honestly, I get to talk about the often forgotten Bild Lilli. Who needs love. In addition both my editor and I will be out busy these next two weekends so while I will try to get an episode out, we may miss it. Sorry.
