Even in seasons of uncertainty or chaos, Derek urges us to get out of the metaphorical valley where we are in danger of letting passivity, anger, anxiety or pride keep us stuck. Using the story of Joseph from the Bible and notes from theologian Bob Sorge, he shares how God can use a season of delayed promises or unanswered prayers to get us back to a place of fruitfulness. We learn that in order to suffer rightly, we have to have the right perspective and belief about what is going on.
