  • Michael Goldstein: Trolling, Memetics, Austrian Economics and Carnivory
Michael Goldstein is president of the Satoshi Nakamoto Institute and a long time bitcoiner who has done much to help educate about bitcoin. In this discussion we get into the art of internet trolling, bitcoin memetics, Austrian economics and the nature of money, the current global macroeconomic situation and how it relates to bitcoin, the future of bitcoin, and we dive into another rabbit hole that he’s known for: carnivory. It was great to get to talk with Michael and hope our discussion helps you all on your bitcoin journey.

  • ObiWan Kenobit: Hyperbitcoinization and the Macroeconomic Situation
Obiwan Kenobit has been into bitcoin for many years now and over the past year or so has been producing some great contributions to the growing library of bitcoin education content - particularly his widely read Medium post titled "Hyperbitcoinization: Winner Takes All" - and a series of great threads on Twitter. I’ve included links to the article and many of his threads in the show notes and be sure to follow him @obiwankenobit on bitcoin twitter. Excited to host Obiwan for his first bitcoin podcast, hope you all enjoy it.

  • Murad Mahmudov: Monetary Revolution, Blockchain Archaeology, Bitcoin's Prospects
Murad is a well known bitcoiner who really burst onto the scene last year with a couple great medium posts and twitter threads and, of course, some fire podcast episodes. But Murad hasn’t recorded a podcast for a while and I was grateful to be able to talk with him today. He recently cofounded Adaptive Capital, a crypto hedge fund and in this episode we talk a bit about how it’s going at Adaptive Capital, about the near to medium term prospects for the bitcoin price, Murad explains some of the onchain analytics he uses and explains how and why he uses technical analysis in combination with the onchain analysis. We then get into the nature of money and the possible socio-cultural outcomes of bitcoin.

  • Ben Prentice: Bitcoin Economics and Monetization
Ben Prentice is a bitcoiner who, like myself, finally dived down the bitcoin rabbit hole in 2017. Ben has been focused on the economic lessons bitcoin has to teach us. He’s consumed a lot of the Austrian economics source literature and has started distilling that down into some fire threads on Bitcoin Twitter. I was excited to get a chance to sit down and chat bitcoin with him today. Just a couple bitcoiners talking bitcoin, one of my favorite things to do.

  • Steve Barbour: Bitcoin Mining and Upstream Data
Steve Barbour is the owner of Upstream Data in Canada, a company offering modular and portable bitcoin mining hardware to the oil and gas industry. Steve and I discuss his background and the process of building Upstream Data and designing the line of Ohmm mining products that allow oil and gas producers to capture the value of wasted energy as bitcoin. We also discuss the broader mining industry and what bitcoin has taught Steve.
