Jeffrey Beaumont has a need to try to solve a mystery that is going on in his small US town.

He comes across Dorothy a traumatized lounge singer that is trying to save her son and husband from the helium addicted , Frank Booth. 

Things start to spiral as he begins to adapt to this cruel new world that he has been introduced too.
