They also explore their lived experience further through the intersectional lens, dissecting the impacts of intergenerational conflict across race, culture, gender and caste. ‘I think one of the reasons that Nepal, well maybe the refugee camps we both lived in, were culturally rich, was… I think because of our poverty, and this is not to undermine the strength of Nepalese/Bhutanese culture in binding people together’.
