CiTR -- Fill-in Shows

In this episode we all stay inside, our homes, ourselves and our bubbles of slight delightful delusion. Enjoy thinking about anything but the current situation as I improv about axolotls and talk about music by Doja Cat, Malcate, Zee and the Empties, Nasti Weather, Old Soul Rebel, and Moontricks. If you want to have your song, or an idea for an improv, featured on the show email your tunes or inspirations to [email protected] 11am(ish) - 12pm(ish) 03/04/2020

It's my birthday! Travel through time for our first glitch free episode, recorded from my livingroom due to shut downs WE REFUSE TO TALK ABOUT FOR ONCE! This is an early morning party play list featuring Top less Gay love Tekno Party, Tonye, Horsepowar, bbno$ and classic Canadian powerhouses dee-lite and love inc. Another trip up the slope of learning how to be a radio host! in this show we get a call in from my brother and listen to a sweet sampling of Canadian music makers, as usual remixing their themes into a new tune at the end. It's been about 1.5 years since I last hosted an episode of the New Era Show...feels good to be back baby!
Tonight's episode is a spe-shal edition commemorating Black History Month and as such, I've got some locally brewed jams from the likes of Teon Gibbs, Mamarudegyal, Turunesh, as well as some interna-shanal songs from Camp Mulla, Barak Jacuzzi and more...
Also, this episode features excerpts from an interview I did with a Kenyan performing artist named Karun Mungai. She's internationally recognised for various achievements eg Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 2019 and BET nominations. Enjoy!

Valentine's is a hard time. DJ Sad Panini's got your back with a playlist to embrace your melancholy.

The best and worst of gabber, noise pop, speedcore, and vaporwave. One off episode for Fundrive 2020

Welcome Creatives. This is the pilot episode to Creative Café, a new show show dedicated to all the hard working professionals and artists who are trying to hone their craft. I have some classical and jazz music to energize your mind and get you working at your peak and also bringing you down to earth with some stories from some pretty insightful people. Stories include an interview with a librarian from the Rare Books and Special Collections of the Irving K. Barber at UBC as well an interview with the person in charge of the "Trees of UBC" instagram account.

Alec, the Student Executive President, and Kelli, the Student Executive Business manager play some fun Valentine's Day jams (and a few sad love songs), and chit chat about how rad the exec is and why you should donate to Fundrive 2020!
