UBC ticks along as usual and so does Folk Oasis! Lots of tunes this week from locals and out-of-towners playing here in the next few days. And to warm things up, a little Brazil and Mardi Gras.

Thanks for listening and stay warm!

Welcome to another two rootsy hours, after an exciting day here on campus (google: UBC lockdown). Steve Dawson joined me in the studio to play a couple of tunes on beautiful guitars and talk about his upcoming solo release. Feel free to enter the contest for Steve Dawson concert tix and CD's: [email protected] Only requirement: you need to be in Vancouver Feb. 8 to see the show @ St. James Community Centre.

Stay warm (you Prairie People especially!) and hope the rest of your week goes well..

Thanks to David Love-Jones for covering my show last Wednesday (sorry no podcast available). I'm freshly back from Texas so tonight featured music from the Lone Star State. Enjoy, y'all!

Happy 2008,

The last Folk Oasis of 2007 (where did the year go?). With some listener input, this show included just some of my favourite roots music releases of the year.
Have a safe and happy New Year's Eve and thanks again for your support!
