CiTR -- More Than Human

On tonight’s bitter-sweet edition of MTH new techno from Derivatives, Pye Corner Audio reappears as the Head Technician, Mika Vainio provides some spooky atmospherics and the radio station’s lost kitten is found and is more powerful than ever. Zoned.

This is a special double-sized summer edition of More Than Human. It’s all been a bit grim lately and we thought we could do some cheering up - so on tonight’s show it’s mostly happy house music, some gentle techno and the occasional weird electronic odyssey.

Lots of new stuff to play for you including: Lorenzo Senni, Huerco S & Project Pablo; a very interesting collaboration from the Front and Follow crew featuring IX Tab and Hoofus; plus the gig guide and lots more.

MTH is back on the air after a MoogFest break. On this week's refreshed edition I’ll be playing you fresh tracks from new releases by Belbury Poly, Second Woman, Death in Vegas; also we have a feature-length interview with DisasterPeace recorded at MoogFest; plus the usual gig-guide and much more. Phoenix.

New offerings to the Lords of Synth from Gray Chalk, Dennis Young, Antwood; an exclusive preview of the new Pye Corner Audio / Dalhaus split; we say goodbye to Tomita and probably squeeze in a few gig recommendations as well. Snowflakes are dancing.

On this special edition of MTH we’ll be previewing some of the performers at this years MoogFest including Suzanne Ciani, Grimes, Gary Numan, Earthly, Jlin and loads more; plus we’ll look at the workshops and films at the festival. Synthesize Love.

On the menu tonight an Ethiopian Yamaha DX7 workout; a Danish reissue of a Swedish classic; Canadian avant-garde times two; a lovely slice of Berlin house and much much more. 10,000 lumens per second.

Strange and wonderful electronic sounds from the past, present and future: house, ambient, vintage electronics, library music, new age, fauxtracks and other obscure genres. Music from parallel worlds, with inane interjections and the occasional sacrifice.

On tonight’s very dreamy, almost new age edition, new tracks from Sarah Davachi, Tim Hecker, The Passenger, and many more; plus the gig round up and the usual inane chat between the tunes.

On tonight’s show new tunes from Hintermass. Ash Koosha, Concretism, a little record store day announcement, upcoming gigs and an attempt at astral projection across the stars. Lofty.
