Womens basketball and mens hockey are serious playoff threats, mens rubgy holds onto the Wightman boot, mens basketball and volleyball keep rolling, and top ranked womens hockey and volleyball surprisingly lose 3 out of their 4 weekend games.

The winter classic draws out 5500 and UBC tallies lots of wins - 13 to be exact.

Mens basketball splits a series against Lethbridge, while the women's snap their losing streak. Volleyball rolls through Winnipeg, and hockey is looking up with the women remaining first in USPORTS and the mens team grabbing two more wins.

First week back in 2018, and regular seasons restarted for both hockey and volleyball, while basketball traveled to Las Vegas and Cuba to play exhibition games.
