Part 2 of EVIDENCE focuses in on spiritual growth. Our own spiritual formation is such an impactful way to prove our faith and our growth is something that can point others to Jesus. We are challenged to reevaluate the steps we are taking to experience growth.

Last Sunday's message began a brand new series entitled "EVIDENCE". As we move into this new season, we ask a simple, yet meaningful question - "What does a difference-making faith look like? How can I truly show the evidence of my faith?" We will be studying through Hebrews 11 to answer this. Our first instalment lays the foundation for our study ahead as we must ensure we place and prioritize our faith in Christ alone.

Jesus has been revealing Himself as the Good Shepherd, and we have been re-discovering the contentment that is found through a personal relationships with Him. The final instalment of our study focuses in on the commitment He has for us. He will always be with us, faithfully by our side through every season of life. As a result, we should be committed to Him. We are His sheep, and He loves us. His plans are always best.

Last Sunday's instalment of My Shepherd focused in on verse 5 of Psalm 23. Even though the enemy is present, God's presence always overcomes. He is preparing a table for us, and will always supply our needs. We are again brought back to the common theme of finding contentment solely in Jesus as our Shepherd. His presence brings us peace and satisfaction, whether we have little or much.

The next instalment of my Shepherd focuses in on the protection that He brings. Simply acknowledging His holy presence in our lives can result in His peace and comfort surrounding us. We should seek His presence - through meditating on Scripture, prayer, and personal worship to Him. There is protection found, in His presence.

The next instalment of My Shepherd continues in on verse 3 of Psalm 23. This time, we focus in on the phrase "He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His Names sake." We are reminded that the Shepherd has a perfect plan and path for all of us to follow. Regardless of His unique leading, His desire for us is to know Him more, as this is where true fulfilment lies. Overall, the ultimate purpose is to bring glory to His Name, as we find contentment in Him.

The next message of "My Shepherd" focuses in on verse 2 of Psalm 23. We look at the statement "He restoreth my soul" and unravel the desire the Father has for all to return to Him. No matter how far we may stray, the Shepherd is longing for us to return to His fold. Sometimes the path of restoration may not be what we expect, but His plans are always carried out in love and the Shepherd knows what is best for His sheep.

As we go into verse 2 of Psalm 23, we continue on the theme of finding contentment in the person of Jesus. The presence of the Shepherd offers rest, and in this place is freedom from fear, conflict and hunger. His presence leads us into green pastures and still waters, so we can find true rest in Him alone.
