Habakkuk is a changed man! Instead of complaining, he's now praising the Lord. We get an example of how the righteous are to pray in challenging times. May we, in the midst of our troubles, pray like this.

2. Prayer That Is Confident
3. Prayer That Asks For Help
4. Prayer That Asks For Mercy

The prophet is confused by the prevailing wickedness and evil in the land. In response, God offers 5 woes of future judgement. For those of us who are confused by the evil in world, may we be comforted and challenged by God's perfect plan of future judgement.

And if we are the righteous, we are called to live by faith, knowing that our Lord has saved us to be a pleasing sacrifice, which means to hate what God hates and love what God loves.

4. Woe to the Shameless
5. Woe to the Idol Maker

God answers the prophet a second time. His answer will aid us in finding certainty in the midst of confusion & understand what it means for the righteous to live by faith.

How do we trust God when life does not make sense?

The prophet Habakkuk in v.2-4 questions God, "How long?" & "Why?" In response, the Lord of the universe declares that he is at work in v.5-11. May we be reminded that in our most challenging circumstances, God is working!

In this new series we get to listen in on the prophet Habakkuk talk with God about a world that seems to be falling apart, and in doing so we’ll learn about the One who’s holding it all together.

In the midst of troubling times the prophet Habakkuk ask's God two questions in v.1-4:
1. O Lord, How Long? (v.1-2)
2. O Lord, Why? (v.3-4)
