It’s important to keep a proper perspective when trials come. Some of us are compulsive warriors intend to make mountains out of mole hills, but sooner or later a rail trail will come. The wisdom that James shares in these verses will help us face the most trying times.

As I finish this message I was thinking of an old him that said, “tempted and tried we’re all made to wonder, why it should be this all the day long” but I cannot remember the rest of the the verses and how it went and I’m gonna have to somehow look that up because it’ll bug me today if I don’t figure out what that old hymn was.

Walking through the darkest valley, I will never tremble at the temperatures power. I have overcome in Jesus Christ my Lord.

Pray what I say a prayed. And then be prepared for God to open doors for you to do things as lead of him.

When anxious believers are searching the Bible for something encouraging to read they’re more likely to turn to Romans eight then to Genesis 8. After all, Romans eight is one of the most heartening chapters in scripture, well Genesis 8 describes God’s “mop up in “operation after the flood. But the next time you find yourself in a storm, Genesis eight can give you a new Hope and encouragement, because the major theme of the chapter is renewal and rest after tribulation.

There’s God’s part, and he’s done most all of it, but we have a part to play too.

Psalm 126:5 says, “those who so in tears will be in songs of joy.”
