The power of living to the max is in recognizing the power of living in the precious present. We have to decide to live in the “now” today (Psalm 118:24, NKJV).

This Week we hear an impactful message from our very own Pastor Alli.

In John 2:1-12, we see Jesus perform his first miracle--turning water into wine. Why did Jesus choose this miracle as the first miracle, and what is the fruit of it?

There is a proper place that God has designed for you to steward (Deuteronomy 12:5). You are not where you’re at today by accident--you’ve either lost your place, you’ve been misplaced, you’ve left your place, or you are completely surrendered to the place that God has called you to be.

Surrender is not a one-time event, but a regular part of a believer’s life. We look to the example of Jesus to see the stages, challenges, and outcomes of a surrendered life (John 19:30 NIV).

Every time we surrender, God responds with his best. Surrender is an act that allows God to bless us in the manner that he chooses. We can learn about surrender from the story of Abraham following God’s call to surrender his son in Genesis 22.

In John 4, we learn the story of the Samaritan woman who encounters Jesus at Jacob’s well (John 4:13-14, TPT). When she meets Jesus, everything changes.

Relational pain comes to derail us from our destiny. Our offenses from painful or broken relationships will pollute our other relationships and destroy our relationship with God. In order to get out of the place of relational pain, we have to do three things:

1. Reveal the hurt.

2. Release the offense.

3. Remember God's redemptive power.

In 2 Corinthians 12:9 and 2 Peter 3:18 (NIV) we are encouraged to grow in grace in order to demonstrate God’s love. Because God has so freely given us grace, we should freely give grace to others.

Jesus demonstrates what it means to sow grace. Receiving grace and sowing grace sets the space for Jesus to be glorified and have his way.

In the final installment in the series on Brick by Brick, we learn that God wants us to choose to be joyful in the work that he is doing. The joy of the Lord is our strength (Nehemiah 8:9-10).
