As our society is rocked with events concerning the covid-19 virus outbreak, we must remember how we should respond as Christians. As a body we will respond: 1) Wisely; 2) Confidently; 3) Compassionately; 4) Peacefully; 5) Generously; 6) Boldly; and 7) Christ Centeredly. It is in times like this that the Church can minister as never before. Remember: "A fearful world NEEDS a fearless Church" - CS Lewis.

One of the primary roles of believers is to be intercessors. “Intercession is holy, believing, persevering prayer whereby someone pleads with God on behalf of another or others who desperately need God's intervention.” We are often poor intercessors, and we do not comprehend the significance of the role that Christ made for us.

In this new series kick-off, we learn that God's people are called to awaken throughout scripture. Adam awoke and found his companion, Eve. Jacob, while fleeing for his life, stopped to rest and became aware of the presence of God in a new place. Repeatedly, Jesus tells His disciples and others to "Awaken"! Join us in this series as we learn what God has for us that we are not yet aware of. Awaken!

If we succumb to temptation and sin, the enemy will not stop there. He will try to disarm you by making you ashamed and making you forget about the power of repentance. God is in the business of restoration, and if you repent, He will rejoice. Invite God into your situation; be humble; don't deceive yourself; let repentance cleanse you; and pray since God hears the prayers of the repentant.
