Do you want to hear “Well done”?
This Sunday, Pastor Lane Long continues our Plot Twist series by unpacking Matthew 25:14–30, the Parable of the Talents. In this sermon, we wrestle with what it really means to be faithful with what God has entrusted to us.
Jesus tells a story about three servants who were given something valuable while their master was away. Two of them faithfully put what they were given to work. One buried it.
The plot twist? Not everyone who calls themselves a Christian will hear, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
So what has God entrusted to you? Your time, your gifts, your money?
And perhaps the better question is:
What is God asking you to unbury?
