Pastor Jason and pastoral resident Jordan expand on our latest series: Judges. They look at God's theological accommodation, the purpose of Judges inclusion in the bible, and how calling can be comforting rather than crushing.

Notes:

• 9:21 - “The book of Judges demonstrates that God’s commitment to his people often exceeds their commitment to him.” - Daniel Block (New American Commentary on Judges)
• 10:46 - Philippians 2:12-13
• 12:56 - Esther 4:12-14
• 20:31 - “Judges demonstrates the terrible spiral of increasing apostasy and violence that results when God’s people abandon their covenant commitments.” - Tremper Longman the Third (Theological Introduction to the Old Testament)

We hope you join us for our week of prayer from November 23rd - November 29th. For more information about our upcoming events or our church in general, check out citycollective.com
