City Harvest Church, OC Audio Podcast | Derek Dunn

Created for Community | Ps. Derek shared on the importance of being part of a community. In the book of Genesis we find that God said it is not good for man to be alone. Our original purpose and intent was not only to fellowship with God but also to fellowship with each other!

In isolation we become vulnerable but united as a community we are stronger! Are you surrounded by community? If not, don’t miss out! Be intentional and build relationships with people that will edify you! Remember a threefold chord is not easily broken!

Why Church? | For National Back to Church Sunday, Ps. Derek shared ‘Why Church?’, sharing the importance of attending Church regularly and being a part of a Church family!

The Power of an Invitation | Ps. Derek shared a very practical and powerful message about inviting people to church! Based on statistics, the rate of people inviting others to church is very low, however, when surveyed, people responded at a very high rate, that they would be open to coming to church if someone simply invited them. Will you make the difference and ask someone a simple question that has the potential to change their life forever — “Will you come to church with me this Sunday?”

Ps. Derek shared the profound effect that one person can have on another; it’s prevalent throughout all of Christian history! Just as the 12 disciples were formed through the ripple effect that comes from each one reaching one; we know that there is great potential when we take initiative and reach out to others to expand the Kingdom of God.

Pastor Susan preached about the yielded heart that is humbled, obedient, pure, and enduring for God. God is not looking for golden vessels, nor silver vessels, but for yielded vessels! Tune in to understand what it is to have a yielded heart for God and it’s benefits!

The End Time Move of God, PT. 2 | Pastor Derek shared the remaining two things that provoke a move of the Spirit; Revelation knowledge, unity, sacrifice, and hunger! We provoke a move of God with spiritual hunger and receive fresh vision, faith in God, and God’s blessings. We must invest in the movement to be a part of it in our church and generation!

We are a move!! This week Pastor Derek spoke about the “End Time Move Of God”! Through a remnant, people who would go through the fire and lay down their lives and personal agenda, will see a move of God in this generation! Pastor Derek helped us understand what is a move of God and how to provoke a move of God.

Ps. Derek preached about the City of Refuge, a place where we come to find love, acceptance, restoration, and empowerment! The church is a place of refuge, a dwelling place and not just a visitation, where we need each other. City Harvest Church is a place of refuge where you can come to get connected, planted, and flourish in the courts of God!

Pastor Robert Burbatt released a breakthrough message about the Consecration to Conquest! God wants to bring us out of Egypt and the old ways of doing and thinking to bring us into something new! God gives us a NEW paradigm of ministry and it is important to discern and move with the Spirit of God to go forward and into the new land He has called us to take!

Building from last week, Ps. Troy drove further into the power behind the baptism of fire and shared about how we, through the power of the Holy Spirit, can unlock mysteries in our life. What a powerful gift, to have the ability to build ourselves up on our most holy faith as we pray in the Holy Spirit— a gift that is ours to use anytime!
