After two months in the book of Exodus, we arrive at the final stretch where God reveals Himself to Israel in greater depth, gives His people the Law, and promises to dwell among them. Through chapters 16-40 we see a God who is both perfectly just and abundantly merciful, unwilling to leave the guilty unpunished yet eager to renew His covenant with His people.
