Dr Mike Hamm will explore the opportunity for regional food systems in-and-around cities for mutual benefit. Mike will approach a number of issues - including vertical farming, bio-geochemical cycles, water use, new entry farmers, and healthy food provisioning - embedded in the notion of city region food systems with reference to supply/demand dynamics.
